May Hi, I have read on one of the Africa websites that May is not a great time to visit Tanzania and certainly not Zanzibar ... but it looked like you had a great time ... do you know why this might be?
Good memories... I am so happy to see these pictures right now!
As I sit here looking at the rain, it reminded me how much I am missing the sun and the beach. I'm ready to head back to the islands very soon. Who's in? ; )
Thanks for posting these Jess!
It was truly my pleasure to get to be there for this special day for you guys, and I had the time of my life. My best to both of you...
Warmest wishes!
i disagree an appreciation of vegemite only comes with an evolved and discerning palate. it was 20 years before i came to trust it's particular flavour, and prescribe it with a little butter on toast as an excellent hangover rememdy.

Nuts on the Nile... I wonder if any of those hazelnuts were from the George Packing Company? They very well could be!
As it stands, I am 100% positive that Larry George is the first tourist to take a picture of himself next to a bucket of nuts in the middle of Cairo. I wonder what the onlookers must have thought.... : )
Amazing Wow,
These photos are amazing! Is it common to get that close to the lions to take pictures like these? As if I wasn't jealous enough, I am now green with envy. : )
Hope all is well!

beautiful! You both look great! It's so wonderful to have this blog site going and see a little of what you're seeing! Love ya both and miss you tons! Love, Cher
Harvest trucks/tractors Overloaded rigs at harvest time... you must feel right at home. And with all that pushing and shoving at the train, I'm not at all surprised that you made it to the front of the line. Those woods look a lot like Sutherlin to me, and why did you have to go to India to see them?
It looks and sounds like you are having a (add all the good superlatives here) trip. We are enjoying the blog lots. You are in our prayers.
Love to you both,
Bonnie and fred
Happy Birthday Hey Larry,
Happy Birthday! I figure late is better than not at all... : )
BTW: I feel your pain; I hate flies...
I can handle snakes, spiders, and other creepy crawlies, but flying, biting insects are the worst. I have been to places where the flies/mosquitos were unbearable, and they can ruin even the most beautiful tropical setting...
Yippee for an update! Sounds like the WA portion of your trip was blessed.
Vegemite is the foulest creation ever. It most certainly should not be categorized as food.
Keep having fun and know that you're missed!!!
Wow Hey guys! I miss you so crazy much!! I'm really happy that you're getting this time together, away from all of us who like to consume your time. I can't wait to see pictures. Your adventures sound beyond amazing. They sure makes my upcoming trip to KY seem dorky. ;-)
Love ya!
Easter Island on Easter Testing, testing. I guess if Tim can do a comment then I should be able to figure it out too, right? It occurs to me, Larry, that you really messed up by not scheduling to be on Easter Island on Easter! Now that would have been cool. Seriously, this blog thing is great, so thanks to you both for putting it together. We want photos! We'll all continue to live vicariously through you two world travelers, so thanks for taking us along, kind of. Take care. Love, Dad/Rod
What about Crater Lake? Hey guys! That is quite a trip you're on, but what about Crater Lake? Isn't that one of the seven wonders? Let me know and I'll plan a trip for you and maybe even take you there myself!...... It's a journey, but I think you can handle it..... Take care, Troy
Delightful! First!
Seriously, this sounds like the trip of a lifetime - or several lifetimes. You both have my very best wishes for a wonderful future.
Jo
Wow... O.K., I knew this was going to be a fantastic honeymoon, but all of the seven wonders in one trip? That is just too cool.
All the rest of us at home are green with envy, not just because it's St. Patrick's Day, but because we have to doused in wet weather while our good friends Larry and Jessica are off soaking up the sun somewhere.
Be safe, and we'll all look for pictures when you get some time to "upload them".
