Nuts on the Nile... - From: Only Moses wanted out more....
I wonder if any of those hazelnuts were from the George Packing Company? They very well could be! As it stands, I am 100% positive that Larry George is the first tourist to take a picture of himself next to a bucket of nuts in the middle of Cairo. I wonder what the onlookers must have thought.... : )

Amazing - From: Serengeti..lions and so much more
Wow, These photos are amazing! Is it common to get that close to the lions to take pictures like these? As if I wasn't jealous enough, I am now green with envy. : ) Hope all is well! --TIM

Harvest trucks/tractors - From: Jessica: the wild tiger hunter.
Overloaded rigs at harvest time... you must feel right at home. And with all that pushing and shoving at the train, I'm not at all surprised that you made it to the front of the line. Those woods look a lot like Sutherlin to me, and why did you have to go to India to see them? It looks and sounds like you are having a (add all the good superlatives here) trip. We are enjoying the blog lots. You are in our prayers. Love to you both, Bonnie and fred

Happy Birthday - From: Monkey Mia, Dolphins, Pinnacles, and Kangaroos
Hey Larry, Happy Birthday! I figure late is better than not at all... : ) BTW: I feel your pain; I hate flies... I can handle snakes, spiders, and other creepy crawlies, but flying, biting insects are the worst. I have been to places where the flies/mosquitos were unbearable, and they can ruin even the most beautiful tropical setting...

Yippee for an update! Sounds like the WA portion of your trip was blessed. Vegemite is the foulest creation ever. It most certainly should not be categorized as food. Keep having fun and know that you're missed!!!

Wow - From: Rapa Nui, Isla de Pascua , Easter Island...they are all wonderful!
Hey guys! I miss you so crazy much!! I'm really happy that you're getting this time together, away from all of us who like to consume your time. I can't wait to see pictures. Your adventures sound beyond amazing. They sure makes my upcoming trip to KY seem dorky. ;-) Love ya!

I'm so glad everything is going so well. This note is for the "readers": Anyone who went to the wedding and would like a video recapping the highlights of the trip and the wedding, please send me an e-mail with your address to: tim"at"democracydirect.us. Replace the "at" with the @ symbol, of course. Larry & Jess, I am working on putting it up on a website where you can view the video remotely from the road. Until then, I only have physical copies. And don't worry; I won't put it up on YouTube. : ) Best wishes, everyone!

Easter Island on Easter - From: The itinerary...
Testing, testing. I guess if Tim can do a comment then I should be able to figure it out too, right? It occurs to me, Larry, that you really messed up by not scheduling to be on Easter Island on Easter! Now that would have been cool. Seriously, this blog thing is great, so thanks to you both for putting it together. We want photos! We'll all continue to live vicariously through you two world travelers, so thanks for taking us along, kind of. Take care. Love, Dad/Rod

What about Crater Lake? - From: The itinerary...
Hey guys! That is quite a trip you're on, but what about Crater Lake? Isn't that one of the seven wonders? Let me know and I'll plan a trip for you and maybe even take you there myself!...... It's a journey, but I think you can handle it..... Take care, Troy

Wow... - From: The itinerary...
O.K., I knew this was going to be a fantastic honeymoon, but all of the seven wonders in one trip? That is just too cool. All the rest of us at home are green with envy, not just because it's St. Patrick's Day, but because we have to doused in wet weather while our good friends Larry and Jessica are off soaking up the sun somewhere. Be safe, and we'll all look for pictures when you get some time to "upload them". --TIM

What fun! - From: Urban transit and cheap sleeps in Miami...
This is going to be so fun! I feel like Katherine and I are going to get a magical geography, history, sociology course with two of our very favorite people! Thank you, Larry, for taking such good care of our girl...I'm glad to know that my admonitions are echoing in your head :) I'm hoping that I gave you sufficient warnings to last the duration of the trip! :) Love the address of the blog! Mr. and Mrs. George, while already shared by several of the households following you two on this journey, is going to take some getting used to by us on the Johnson/Brey side. It's the perfect heading for your travel log!/honeymoon trip! Jessica has already sent a message about Machu Pichu, but we will be glad to hear what you, Larry, have to say about it as well. Let us know when you hit the beaches of Bora Bora. Since it is only in the los 50's and damp here, many of us will be living vicariously on the sand again through you! Much love to you both--keep these travels safe! :) Auntie V and Katherine
