Hi Claudi ! Hi Terry! See you in May in Marburg? All 4 of us are coming. Herzliche Gruesse Yanni

schöne Aussichten - From: on the road
Hallo Ihr Lieben! So Long geniesst Eure tolle Reise und weiterhin Gottes Segen fuer Euch beide Gruss Yanni

Dear Helen, we've been talking about you last week. We are still coming back on May 6th. We found a book that was called "How not to retire and stay alive." Will buy it in England and then we can continue our discussion about a good life-work balance. Big Grin! lots of love and big hugs Claudi and Terry

... let us know how you are??? Well I'll tell ya, I'm dead jealous! Have been the whole way thru but trying to put a brave face on it. Convincing myself that the extraordinaryily mild winter we've been having over here somehow makes up for all the sun you're experiencing over there. Even wish it was me who was buying those thermals! Must get out on my bike soon and pretend I'm on an adventure. Get back here soon before the whole of Kent up-sticks and comes to join you!! xx

- Can you believe I did the exact same thing exactly 10 years ago....well the swimming with the dolphins. I unfortuntely got far far too tipsy (as you say) and did not get up early enough to see the whales.......enjoy the south island. Definately reccommend taking a walk near Mount Cook and the Routeburn Trek was amazing if you're up for it. Take care Cat

Hi Mr and Mrs Knox, My name is Zhang Hao, a recent visitor in Singapore from China. I was also a guest at The South East Asia Hotel (SEAH) and suffered absolutely ghastly bed bug bites in the 6 nights of the stay. I am intending to sue the hotel for compensation for distress and fraud. Please let me know if you are interested in making a case or serving as a witness. My email is darksoul_2@hotmail.com. Thank you. Yours truly, Zhang Hao

Dear Claudi and Terry, finally I get your last journals and now the new one from Australia. 2 years ago we have been to Australia and we loved Sydney very much. Looking at you nice pictures it seems that we have been there only some days ago. Time is running so quick. In sydney we have seen at that time Queen Mary 1st. By leaving the habour there was a great firework. In front of the ship the Opera seems to be litlle as a Kinderspielzeug. Enjoy the Aussie-land and stay well. Lots of love Beate & Angelo

Dear Claudi and Terry! I'm so jealous of you! I really must travel to Oz again very soon. It's just a shame that I already know that it'll take a couple of years until I can go. I enjoyed Australia very much and it seems that you do too. So - have fun exploring! See ya, Christine

G'day - From: Laos Capital
Great to catch up with your blogs again. I had always thought Mekon was a small green alien foe of Dan Dare, what a surprise to find out thats it's really a river! Nothing exciting to report here, spent valentines day in Dublin, which was fun, but probably not as romantic as wherever you were...sipping beer, lying in a hammock, sandy beach, perfect sunset, exotic fruit etc! Well I drank Guiness, so there. LoL Mo x

Homesick?! - From: Cambodia
I'm surprised it took 2 months, I thought you guys would start feeling homesick sooner. The delay must be an indication of how much you guys are enjoying it. You've probably had enough of the East though. I'm sure after some nice hotels (rat free) and some good sensible food you will be as keen as ever. fascinating stuff though. Any particular reason why you avoided the Killing fields, other than the obviously inhumanity surrounding the history. Enjoy the last of the East!!

Jealous!! - From: Hue - former royal city of Vietnam
I am so envious of your holiday! As I've said the East was not a place that I ever wanted to visit but it seems so relaxed and friendly and scenic! I will have to make a plan. So if I break the bank it's all the Knox's fault!!! What I really enjoy reading is how you guys mix the tourist spots together with the local lifestyle and so by reading your entries we get a good feel of the places you visit. Here we've had snow for 3 days (In Kent anyway). I'll avoid the office talk because that will depress you no end. Keep the blogs coming and soldier forth, tough job and who better than you guys to do it :).

Walking where Kings once walked!! - From: Hue - former royal city of Vietnam
Taking in the gardens where kings once walked!! You've been on holiday far too long, Terry. I'm starting to worry whether you're ever going to leave these lovely surroundings for the joy of your top floor office?!! I must say Vietnam has never been on my destination list but you & Claudia have changed that perception. Oh, thanks for the medal of honour!! I wear it proudly & look forward to the celebratory barbecue at your home in Kent. I will save you from the bore of work other than think of what you fled from.....it's got worse!!! Enjoy.

Gold Medal - From: South China Sea
Glad to hear that you managed to get away and have a break yourself. Claudia reckons that you deserve a gold medal for the number of times that you have responded to the blog, so I hereby award Mr Duane Bridger the Gold Medal in keeping in touch via the email. Claudia feels like she knows you (even though you've not met). We'd love to bring you back a special present from our trip; unfortunately that means travelling for a further FOUR MONTHS (ha ha ha !!!) and we are trying to travel light; alternatively the last leg is of the tour is in the states and America is really just Europe in big and so you'd have everything from there. Anyway; I still owe you a Barbeque at our small home in Kent - we haven't forgotten. Once again, thanks for consistently staying in contact you honorary Bastard.

A Floating BAR!! - From: South China Sea
I must say, Vietnam sounds a lot better that India. A floating bar, next thing you'll be buying a 60ft yacht!!! It looks absolutely fab. We got back from a week in France and were greeted by typical Uk weather!! I expect work to be maniac and insane so won't think about it until I get back. I won't even advise you not to because that is clearly the last thing on your mind and rightly so!! Keep on, it's a cracking holiday!!, bloody bastard!!!!

Terrific - From: River of Life - full of death
Dear Claudia and Terry, It's brilliant to read your travel diary and enjoy your adventures with you. It seems that you're more than a million miles away from life in rainy Kent. Life here is pretty hectic - school is full on Nativity (dress rehearsal today was filmed by Paul O'Grady's show - but that's another story), Mo had his surprise 40th birthday party the other week, our kids have their heads buried in Argos catalogues and e.bay preparing for Christmas and the rain and grotty weather doesn't stop. It's lovely to step out of all that and look at your wonderful photos. Lots of love to you both, Nicki xxx
