another tavern!!! We had a frosty golf morning at Wickenberg Golf and Cou ntry Club last Tues. Frost delay for 30 mins. Great course you would have loved it and the price. $49 a couple, 18 holes with cart, 2 buckets of balls, and a full lunch with beer in the great club house. We are all going to golf there for Thanksgiving minus you two. miss you great blogs DS and cjs

We think the highlight of G's trip was Alexander's Brewery. But you should have bought the hat we could have worn them in the woody! Do they give free chicken with a 12 pack of special bottled beer. That is Dave's latest find. dave and cjs

Thanks
Great commentary and pictures. I feel you are getting to know the US better than I do. I admire the way the two of you get out and do interesting things. And,......taking the rest of us "stay at homers" along with you via the comments and pics.

Very pretty. Looks nicer than Labrador. Can't do live lobster either - hate it when they scream.

I'm sure there is some philosophical link between taverns and tombstones ... besides the obvious.

Lovely photo of you two!
Hey, do I recognise that photo of you both on your travel blog? I am very flattered - and did think at the time it was a great photo of you both!

Ancestors
What fun - wish I had some notable ancestry. Rick claims that his Uncle Ogden discovered Utah and that there is a monument to him there. Ha, ha. I haven't seen it yet.

the maritimes
Oh Marcy - I just love the hat! And, just love all the photos of Nova Scotia, and Peggy's Cove. Definitely on my bucket list - getting longer and longer. And know just how you felt about the lobster. We used to catch them on night dives on the reefs in Saudi - I had to cook them and it took some nerve! So glad to hear you didn't get caught up in the storms.

Hi from the island
Just read your latest blog. Fascinated with the places you're visiting. So pleased to hear you're seeing all these new places. Weather has been quite agreeable on our island. We just got back from Edm. (another wedding.) and Pg. to see the babes. Weather also good for Oct. but good to get back to our hot tub and pussycat. Fun to get back out in the dirt. Take care. The Morgans:) ps. You never made it to the maritimes? Was the weather too inclement?
