Moshe - Leah Simmons

Leah  Simmons Spending a Semester in Amsterdam, North Holland in the Netherlands. Studying International Perspectives on Sexuality and Gender. My independent study project is making a short film doc. on Muslim women and the hijab (head scarf). I am taking two (known) side trips. One to Croatia in the former Yugoslavia to understand the youth movement in human and gay rights as well as a trip to Rabat and Casablanca Morocco to study Religion and Sexuality. Other adventures not planned and Im sure just as educational (yeah, right.)

Almost one month in Amsterdam feels like three months. The days go by so quickly here, yet I learn so much and see so many things every day that 15 hours of being awake feels like an entire week.
