Ach, so. You're learning that life in Europe revolves around eating, mit grosse carbohydraten? Ye'll be ROLLING home, so ye will. Thanks for taking time to keep us informed. Today's weather here feels like your outdoor photos look. Pretty draughty. Have fun in Gay Paree. Stay out of the Les Patisseries et Chez le Boulanger( Can't remember if that's the butcher's or baker's.) Rumor has it that the French eat horse meat, so if your burger tastes like glue.....................Yuk, now I've made myself sick!

Hi there, So glad you guys got to see "the game". We are some proud Canadians these days! Thanks for keeping us up to date on your adventures including all the personal hygene stuff :-{ !! Never thought you could do without a shower that long, did you? Are you learning anything about sheep so that you can preach to us when you get home? I understand there are more sheep than humans in NZ. Play safe.

Ahh, and you thought your education ended in school! We are spolied for service in N.America. Maybe there's a career opportunity for one of you----teaching the rest of the world what "Service" means. It sure helps to have a sense of humor when travelling. Good on yer mite.

Well, now you know what your Grampa has been talking about all these years. WE live in the best place on earth. Laraine's cousin's wife over there in Melbourne shakes out her nightie EVERY night before putting it on as spiders Looooovvvvvveee nighties. And stripey PJs too, I hear.

Ah yes, we have Spuzzum in BC and I can think of several places in Ireland that compare to Iluka. You've heard the joke about the competition where 1st prize is a week in Iluka and 2nd prize is 2 weeks in Iluka? Looking forward to more updates.

OKAY GUESS WHAT...... I had my first ever BASKETBALL game and my team won , it was 20 18 (20 is us). I had 5 assist no baskets. I knew a lot about the game because of all your basketball games:) love you lots your exited cousin Cassidy Shae

Hello you three!!! thanks for taking the time to give us some news. We are a bit more relaxed now, but grampa and I have been sitting on the "edge of our sofa" in the bedroom, waiting for more news. We have settled back now and are looking forward to enjoying your trip via the internet. What a time you've had but glad that, hopefully!!!!!, the worst is behind you. Hope the weather warms up a bit, too. We had Noreen with us last week as she wasn't well enough to continue the sp. tour in Oregon. She caught a heavy cold and bronchial cough. She's better now and Graham and Caroline Wainwright picked her up yersterday and took her to Merrit where she'll wait for Janet Mose, her companion to join her. Went to Doug and Gayles yesterday. He was in ferndale cutting cabinets with Trevor. We helped Gayle clean out some of the cabinets. We saw the granite sample for the first time and also the colours they have chosen for the cabinets and flooring. Looks great. Rhonda is going to come with grpa. and I to the dr. appt. on Tuesday. Hope grpa. gets enough information to help clear up the "picture" of what he can do and what he can't. Right now he isn't too sure. All for now, all our love, and have a good time. Know that you will make lots of contacts with young people on your travels. Do you stand up or sit down in mtgs.? Love, grpa and gma. good
