Thank you, the scenery was great. If this had been in North America I would have gone hiking, but not a good idea in China, particularly close to Tibet.
Thank you My wife and I are trying to see as much of the world as we can. I have no [articular favorites but would say that New Zealand was the most beautiful that we have visited todate
Fantastic pictures! I'm not so good navigating this blog, and so far I just see Tianamen and Forbidden City, but what I see is great!
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of it. I've got a lot more time on my hands as my Cuba tours were cut short due to a car accident - I am fine, but have a broken arm so they sent me back to the States for medical treatment. SO - I am really looking forward to reading the rest of your blog! ox, Pam
China Hi Pam, I had some real problems uploading pictures when I came home and am using a round-about way to do so. It took me some time to figure out this way, so I am late starting my blog. Stay tuned there is a lot more to come.

Wow! Wow! Each time I wake up to see another of your wonderful blogs on your trip I am even more amazed and to think that spec on the MAJOR Ski slid might have been you Mare I'm so totally impressed. BUT have you lost it girl? The pictures are fantastic Morgan and the trip seems to be only one to be dreamed of. Thanks for sharing.
Carroll
Antarctic Sliding Hi Carroll Thanks for the comment as you can see Mare and I continue to travel and see as much of the world as possible. Antaractic was not on Mare's list of places to visit but it was on my bucket list and she was a trooper to come along. Now I have to take her to Antiqua.
All the best Morgan
Morgan your pictures are phenomenal. I must find out what line you travelled on. I imagine it was one of the Discovery ships. I was in Antartica in 2003 but was unable to land so still have it on my bucket list. What a fabulous trip you and Mare are having. Thanks for sharing it.
Regards,Carroll
Wow - talk about bringing back fond memories. I'm in Vancouver visiting with friends I made on my trip to Peru. Started out in Edmonton and drove through our beautiful Rockies to get here. Enjoying your blog and your travels.
Carroll
Machu Picchu Hi Carol, great to hear from you. We are in Vancouver a couple of times a year to visit with our daughters and granddaughter. My next posting will be the Sacred Valley followed by Machu Picchu
Curacao - how it's changed When we were there (many years ago) the harbor bridge was the Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge - it opened and closed for naval traffic much like the Victoria and/or the bridge in LaSalle....
Never been to Poland but always curious. Thanks for sharing. Nice to see all of these places that were a part of our history throughout the wars still were able to retain much of their heritage. Hope you have a map somewhere at home so you can push pin all the places you've been.
Carry on my friends.
Hi Morgan and Mare,
I'm so pleased you are continuing to travel and share your travels with me. I was in Berlin last September and I think you made the right decision not travelling for 3 hours each way. I was on a bus tour there last September when I went to Oberammergau and it was brutal at times being on the bus. Besides Berlin now isn't at interesting as it was during the time I was there in the 70's and the wall was up and there was an East and West. Denmark looked fabulous too. It's still on my bucket list. As you probably know from Carl Ben has asked Brenda, Pat and Robert to lead the "tour" this year so doesn't have a position for me. I'm on my way to Macchu Pichu this October/November with an extension on the Amazon. Thought I'd better go while I felt I could handle the heights. Hope we stay in touch. Perhaps lunch one day. Looking forward to your next location...Carroll
Since I retired in 2006 my wife Mare and I are doing our best to see as much of the world as we can. Life is an adventure, you only go this way once and we want to pack in as many new experiences and adventures as we can.... full info
