| 9th May 2008 Debbie Cottontail | The famous five bare all - From: Five are off to Workington! hurrah well - what a vision to wake up to this bright sunny morning, just as thought my morning just couldn't get any brighter (julian . . . teasing out that extra ray of sun . . wonderful! . . . . it's not as bright as mine, of course). On careful inspection of the brilliant photos I was a little 'perplexed' about the first one of Julian and George fixing the bikes in position! . . knowing George as well as i do (my bestest sister) and i now feel that i know Julian that little bit more, i wonder, is it that a little ray of sunshine that George is taking a sneeky peek at or a last attempt to discover where Annes lost powerball got to! actually Anne, you may be interested to know that fairy tablets also give lots of sparkle and are on offer at Tesco as we speak! Carry on having jolly good fun guys, i wish i could be there too and enjoy the sun - it always shines on the righteous you know. love to you all x x x x x |

| 19th June 2007 Alex | You should write a travel book - From: Out and about in the rain Your writing really brings it all to life - the details, the descriptions, and the sheer pleasure you are taking in it all. It's making me feel really excited about our holiday there at the end of July, but I must get my passport sorted fast. If it's any comfort, the weather's been rubbish here too, and we've had no exciting markets, trips or turtle sightings to take our minds off it! Look forward to next instalment. Love Alex xxx |
| 19th June 2007 Madame Alex | Wish I was there! - From: Bonjour amies Sounds (and looks) as if you're having a brilliant time - storms and all. It all looks so peaceful and unhurried - I guess out of school holidays is a good time to go. Quimperle looks beautiful; I love the pictures of the River and the pretty old buildings. As you say, the flowers add so much. Glad you're having a good time - you certainly needed the break. Hope you're feeling refreshed. Love Alex xxx |
