When in Townsville we visited the biggest reef museum in Ausatrlia. We then travalled across country to Mt Isa.... that journey only took us 15 hours which included sitting at a road block fro over two From there we drove to Katherine up the middle that journey was over 1300 Km's and took us about 12 or so hours.
