27th June 2009 naila	i dont have a comment title. - From: Quirks from the road... hi. this blog was really amusing. especially the part about brits and mexican food. haha. i remember eating "nachos" in london, which weren't really nachos at all, but tortilla chips sprinkled (sprinkled= 1-2tbsp) with some cheese, a drizzle of salsa, and like 2 jalapenos on top.

Not sure you will get this or be able to respond but I am leaving in a week for a month study in Kathmandu and wondered if you had any MUST DOs you could recommend since i feel totally clueless and am going by myself! What I would give to take a bucket shower, drink some chai, and eat some style cream and onion chips...it's so refreshing to hear that India is just as we left her, imperfections and all. What would be the fun if you took a bus tour which took you straight to the great wall, most likely the best part, then to Tianamen square, to the forbidden city with lunch provided in between at a nice restaurant and back in time for a wonderful Italian buffett????? Which is probably something I would have done, so that I could visit Shanghai and Xian over the remaining 4 days and be back in time for work Monday morning!! Makes me wonder which would be a better idea?? What do you think?
