Since you're not a typical American tourist you have given us a view of Europe we would not have seen. Ghent is not very colorful, but the buildings are pretty. I like how the buildings are right up to the water front.

It sounds like Berlin was amazing. It's hard to see the damage done in times of war. It destroys so many beautiful things. Someday it will be no more. Hopefully, we will see that day. There were still many beautiful sights for you to see though. I'm glad they restored the Berlin Cathedral. It reminds me of the church in Vienna.

We had no idea that Prague was such a beautiful city. Loved the Spanish Synagogue. Seeing all of those names written on the walls of the Jewish Synagogue must have been such a somber experience. Don't know how anyone can deny that the Holocaust was real. So glad you went to the church and cathedral. The pictures of the stained glass window and walls of the church are gorgeous.

Jungfrau - From: The Swiss do it right...
very nice to see that you like my country. Indeed, the mountain on the picture is Jungfrau. Though, it's not the highest mountain in europe. The Jungfraujoch is the highest trainstation in europe. That's where the name "top of europe" comes from. The highest mountain in europe is Mont Blanc at the french/italian border with approx 4800m altitude.

The castle is beautiful. You are having so many wonderful experiences. It sounds like you are having a lot of problems catching the trains & buses though. I'm sure the missionaries were happy to talk with someone who wasn't hostile and who spoke English. I'm glad they were there to help you out. Thanks for keeping in touch. Love you.

Tuscany is very pretty. The red buildings are really striking against the green countryside. The legend is that the wolf suckled the twins Romulus and Remus. Romulus founded Rome. Siena was supposed to have been founded by Senius, the son of Remus. Hope you know what those SOS alarms are now, so you won't be accidently pushing them anymore. The floors are gorgeous. I don't think I'd want to walk on them.
