Miri to BSB
How much time did it take to get from Miri to BSB? I read that from Miri to the border it was an hour, but what about the rest of your journey? Which bus company did you use? And did you have hostel reservations or did you just show up? I'm planning a trip there in a month and your help would be greatly appreciated--all the info online is 2 years old! Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply
This might be too late to help, but here goes. Most of what I remember is on my blog. So the most I can tell you about travel times is that we were there by lunch time (if what I wrote was accurate). I rarely booked anything in advance and I don't remember BSB being any different.

Good luck settling back in....
Enjoy the few great weeks of home comforts. Hope you don't suffer too much of the post travel blues after that :)

6 not 4
Unfortunately Emily can’t give a time limit on the tour and 20 of us spend over an hour sat by the bus waiting for 4 others to return. ha ha, is 6 of us not 4. Sorry for waited for us! We had fun but worried to be late!

A Wonderful Read
I am traveling to Bali for Christmas holidays, and am finding your blog an excellent guide for setting budgetary bases in my head. Thanks for taking the time to remember all of the details!! (I am also enjoying the side commentary, and find the story as captivating as daytime tv)

I like it
I like your blogs. Short, simple, useful. I am planning a trip to Indonesia for next year. I have been in that region before. Can you give some information about prices? Accomodation, food... I generally stay at hostels. Just to have an idea. Thank you. Love from Argentina. Graciela.
