So i grabbed some beans on toast and fixed up my cv and emailed a few agencys in Oz and put up an ad on gumtree. So after getting up i met up with Ian and John and the Irish guys from the night before and had the hostel breakie of tea and jam and bread, oh i do love hostel breakkies and so i ordered egg on toast and the was no butter on the toast and Ian and John ordered bacon butties and no butter either. So i got up at 7.30am after not such a good nights sleep and my stomach was still in knots and i packed up my gear to head to the travel agency as you had to be there before the bus leves at 9am and so i grabbed a light breakie and some sandwiches for the journey and headed up to the agency. So i awoke at 7.30 am for the boat over to the Isla Del Sol or island of the sun and an important place in Inca myth as the birth place of the sun. so you get what you pay for and so the was no water in the shower this morning and so i fresened up as much as i could. so as ever my bodyclock woke me up super early which was not all that great but im use to it by now....lol, so i used up some time repacking my rucksack and daysack and then i realised i was still sniffly after yesterday and my throat was dry so i think im coming down with a cold and so i tried to find some stuff in the local farmcies and my spanglish got me nowhere and so i went and just got paracetmol and some halls sweets so hopefully that will help. So this morning i woke fairly early although the baby screaming next door, the early church bells and the dogs barking did not make for a great nights sleep, me and adam risked our lifes in the shower with the dodgey bolivan electrics, not together though......lol. So later that night me, adam and ed and tany met up and went to a cool and cheap veggie place, 8 soles fior three course and a tea. Me and adam had decided to do a one day hike in the colca canyon the next day and we decided to go and do it at Cabaconde. So after my last blog i went and got an omlette and then sat in the cafe reading for two hours and so that was two hours down and then i went for a walk and met Carolina a danish girl from the previous hostel. So i did not have the best of nights sleep, as i was kept awake by the bar playing music full blast and the bar was empty and then dogs barking etc etc and so when i get home im going to sleep for a month to catch up on this sleep im missing. So i have time to kill so i go up and sunbathed and read most of the day, grabbed coffee with an aussie girl amanda and her friend luce who is dutch, they met in Boliva and have been traveling together ever since. Then i grabbed dinner at a pizza place with thes US guys sam and mark who i met yesterday and shared beers and pizza with yesterday evening aswell.
