The East We feel that our trip has finished! We have seen our first clouds in months, temps have dropped below 30c for the first time in months and we had rain for the first time in 11 months!!! - yep, welcome back to the East !

171 litres of fuel sounds like a lot, but with 19 litres left I reckon you could've kept going! ;) But Borroloola sounds like an interesting place so I guess it was good to stop there. The museum sounds like it was a good set up and Roger Jose was either a very disturbed man or one who was completely at peace with himself...either way an interesting character.
Great photos again, particularly the ones taken at the rodeo. Would've been a great day. It has been a very long time since I have been to a rodeo and from memory I was a very little fella myself when I went with Dad, no idea where it was though...

Beware the saltie If it is not a good place to swim because of crocs, was it really a safe idea to camp so close to the river? I trust Jackie was on a very short lead the entire time!
