Crete!!!  Europe » Greece » Crete » Chania
Hello to all, I need to get better at updating this more often, but it is hard because school has really picked up in a short amount of time. Last week I had long days of class. Some highlights included having a cooking class on Wednesday. We made grilled pitas and tzaziki sauce, greek salad, and meat. It was delicious, and I can't wait to make greek food when I go back home. Food here I have become addicted to includes tzaziki and grilled pitas, chicken gyros, and chocolate croissants. Ah, it is so good. The Greeks sure know how to [View Full Entry]

Hi everyone! Sorry it took me so long to actually send out the website that I started keeping a blog on! Anyways, this week we had class Monday-Thursday. I have some of the best professors I have ever had. My favorite is named Robert Pitt, and he is a 20-something British lad with the dryest, most sarcastic sense of humor. Athens Europe » Greece
Hello all! I have been here in Athens for about 6 days or so, and I have to say: Overall, I am loving Athens!!! However, while it is a wonderful city, CRAZY also comes to mind. One observation I have made is that the Greeks do what they please. People park anywhere and everywhere (sidewalks included), pedestrians have no rights, and mopeds zoom around everywhere and park on sidewalks as well. Also, the Greeks take time with everything they do. In a typical American restaurant you go in, order, eat, and leave. In a typical Greek restaurant, you go in, have [View Full Entry]

Oh London... Europe » United Kingdom » England
Hello everyone!! I am writing to you from London in a youth hostel. A girl from my trip, Erin, and I got in around noon, and have had all sorts of adventures since. After a long red-eye flight with little sleep, we made an educated guess as to which "tube" (London underground subway) station to get off on. Well, we made the wrong guess and ended up walking a very long way with our huge backpacks and carry-ons. Luckily, Londoners are very nice and we were asked by several people if they could help point us in the right direction. We [View Full Entry]
