Rome Italy is a oneofakind city. This week has had some interesting elements to it.1. The president of Saint John's Dan Whalen flew over to treat us to dinner and answer questions concerning our visa crisis. I think I explained it a little but overall we were not issued student visas. This was an awesome way to get accustomed to this new overwhelming city. After a few days of that we headed to Venice for a few days. Venice was absolutely amazing. Despite what I had heard from many sources it is not overrated at all. The buildings were old and I really felt like I had stepped back in timeHighlights in Venice includeBuy http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Italy/blog-344368.html Ciao from Roma When in RomeI wake up every morning look outside my 6th story bedroom window and see the walls of Vatican City. I have some of the best professors I have ever had. My favorite is named Robert Pitt and he is a 20something British lad with the dryest most sarcastic sense of humor. He teaches Greek History and he is a great teacher but it is hilarious http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Greece/blog-326033.html Athens Hello all I have been here in Athens for about 6 days or so and I have to say Overall I am loving Athens However while it is a wonderful city CRAZY also comes to mind. One observation I have made is that the Greeks do what they please. People park anywhere and everywhere sidewalks included pedestrians have no rights and mopeds zoom around everywhere and park on sidewalks as well. http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Greece/blog-323607.html Oh London... Hello everyone I am writing to you from London in a youth hostel. A girl from my trip Erin and I got in around noon and have had all sorts of adventures since. After a long redeye flight with little sleep we made an educated guess as to which tube London underground subway station to get off on. Well we made the wrong guess and ended up walking a very long way with our huge backpack http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/blog-321061.html
