Bella Roma, so I think that explains it all (Beautiful Rome for those non italians (me)) we have had a crazy busy few days in Rome but have had a ball. Andrew and I again get parent of the year awards for keeping the kids up obsencely late but what was wonderful was how two lovely Canadian ladies who were on the 3/4hour (Italian time) did start as a 2 hour evening tour (lol) joined us today at the Vatican and said how amazed they were at our kids happily hearing about all that history about piles of rock! So of course today there were a few frayed nerves as we squished in the Colosseum and the Vatican oh and a side trip through the Pantheon! Have to say as a mum I am so proud ... read more

hello i do know that lots of you are on holidays so im writing this for anyone who reads it okay we have been doing lots TUSCANY our hotel rocks we are friends with two italian kids that dont even speak our language! its pretty cool and we have a pool we have been swimming in which is very fun we also have new toys like two new bows which im very happy about :):):):):) DAY 3 FLORENCE the town where leonardo da vinci once lived we went to a museum we all of his gadgets remade including lots of interactive ones we also went to the church of saint maria or the d'omo it was massive there were also heaps of strett sellers (getting the feel of italy) and they had to completly pack up ... read more

Bonjourno from Italy - well Tuscany to be exact and as I am writing this while eating dinner in an amazing restaurant in Castellina i will be brief -TUSCANY IS FANTASTIC we are thinking of out staying our visa's and moving in!!!!! This is our 3rd night in this amazing little town and we have done absolutely NOTHING!! oh except eat, drink and relax even the kids are well into it. We are staying in a Villa which was once the family home of a local family all of whom still live and own businesses in town (eating in one sisters restaurant). Hi all it is me today as time is of the essence and wifi limited :-) so as I am the quickest typist it is my job to give you a quick run down on our day. Well we started off the day in beautiful Dinan a lovely little port town with medieval walls and buildings - AMAZING. If truth be told it does go down hill a little from there as the rest of the day was spent speeding down the motorways (freeways) toward Italy. Yo yo yo dwags wazup peps so whatevs soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Today we arrived at the duchess Anne in Dinan Brittany (turns out Duchess Anne was queen of France)yesterday we stayed at a different Hotel in normandie (a hotel built in the 17th century) (ya know the Normans William the Conqueror no you probably don’t so im a Nerd :”( ) we also went to see mount saint Michel it was a giant cathedral and monastery on top of a rock with a village round it in the middle of a river it was awesome I will tell you guys all about it when I get back (hopefully soon :”( ) but then we had to leave Normandie (:”( felling kinda sensitive today) and that’s when we got here but before we did all this (BACK IN TIME ... read more

hello its will I did go to the notre-dame and it was amazing too brilliant it looked like it was made out of statues we went to mass there and the choir at mass was made completly out of kids mostly primiary i had a picture with joan of arc (she was canonised at the notre-dame) and light a candle for her we also went to an old prison that used to be the home of the kings and queens up until the 1300s and then became a prison which was used in the french revolution it used to have a courthouse inside where the aristocrats were put on trial (the most common sentence in that room was death by gulliotine (x_x) it also had the crucifix used by marie-antuignete (failed spelling) it was very fun ... read more

''BONJURE'' HELLO FROM FRANCE hello again its will and im sorry we havent been writing much but we are almost finished in France it has been a bit stressful because i cant understand much french (but i know some important words like please''civol play''thank you''merci'' and one''un''yes''wei'') but we have been doing alot like going to the lourve (a massive museum and art gallery i loved it ) and we also were meant to go to a castle yesterday or a least thats what Mum said but we got off the train and we saw a castle THE ENCHANTED CASTLE IN disneyland YEHAYHEYAHAYHEY disneyland was sooooo much fun but the lines were massive it was a fun nightmare infact but we still managed to get on a couple of rides but the haunted house was closed ... read more

Hi it is Lucy today - well we went for a walk yesterday and guess what we found? The Eiffel Tower!!!! It was amazing and for the first time mummy and daddy got to the top, they said it took 15years from their first visit and loads of trips since then and finally we all got there. I told them it was my good luck that got them there. The view was amazing and we could see the Arc de Triomphe and the Lourve plus the Notre Dame church. I think Paris is awesome and epic because there is lots to see. We have another big day today! Bye Lucy... read more

We made it!!!! Well apart from the small mishap of me reading our eurostar tickets incorrectly and arriving to check-in (the time I read as check-in) at the time the train departed - OOOOOPS. Thankfully the lovely eurostar lady let me transfer my non-transferable tickets saving us a minimum of 360pounds, yes it may have been because i was about to burst into tears at the ticket counter and Lucy was saying 'mummy I don't want you to cry'. So we did make it and we did survive navigating the Metro and arrived at our lovely 'little' and do i mean little but hey who wants to be in the room when in Paris - we all fit in and as long as Andrew and I don't sit up in bed we are good :-) The ... read more

Well we are off to Paris today but we have had a busy couple of days in London - i should mention that I did manage to purchase a couple of new items of footwear (come on people it was always going to happen) but most importantly we have had an amazing time in London, still soooooooooo much to see but hey there is always next time!
