The call of the world is too great. For the past 12 months we have been planning to move over to London and base ourselves there, working contract and freelance jobs so it gives us the flexibility to get out and travel, London seems so close to everything. We are renting out our house, leaving our jobs, family, friends and our dogs and setting off for a once in a lifetime opportunity.

If we don’t do this now, we will regret it for the rest of our lives.

We want to get out of our comfort zone, experience as many different cultures as we can. So far we have booked a 3 week trip to Nepal trekking the Annapurna Circuit, then on to India for a weeks visit before landing in London. While in London we want to go to many places in Europe - Scotland, Ireland, France , Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Greece just to name a few. We would also love to see Egypt. Of course all this depends on the budget. But perhaps our most sought after trip is going to Peru and visiting Michu Picchu.

It will be an exciting adventure, we are both very active people. Before we fly out in February 2008, we will have completed a number of fun runs, even a full and half marathon. Our blogs in the future are sure to be full of many stories of treks and bike rides and adventure activities etc. And with my profession being a video editor, there will be plenty of video highlights to view.
