A lifetime experience

Takes me back to the thrill of seeing the elusive leopard for the first time. Must have been great that he or she has stuck around for you to do so. Great pic Michael. And somewhat unusual in my experience he or she is not up a tree!

Yes, we were so lucky with this sighting... Sadly it came to the point that we had to leave as time was getting on. We could have stayed there all day watching it.. :)

Thanks for the info on how to get the most out of Petra, Michael. It's all about the light isn't it? And avoiding the crowds if possible. On our wish list still but we'd only go with Guy who led us to Timbuktu who insists on camping in the desert on his tours. Great that Nate and Gabe are now of an age where these memories may linger. Great pics as always and say Hi to Faye from Denise and I.

Yep, they're getting very grown up.
Nate will be 10 this year! 10, can you believe it?? :( Thankfully, it means two years from now they'll both be 10 and we can get them diving! :)

Dear write, firstly I thank you for writing this blog. Has helped a lot with my upcoming travels to the Rockies. Regarding the drone, am I allowed to fly in through the Icefeild Parkway legally? I ask since I know the National Parks banned their use. Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure... This was more than a couple of years ago, and the parkway is technically in the parks so I'm pretty sure if you were questioned you wouldn't have much come back. I flew it from the roadside and never more than a couple of hundred meters from me.

Great to see another blog from one of TBs top photographers in my book. My how the boys have grown since we saw you all in KL. Our son lived in Whistler for 6 months several years back. Your blog reminds me it is time we also spend time there. And we'll definitely get the sea plane tour...looks brilliant. Hi from Denise & I to all of you.

We went to Iceland last spring, it was really amazing! Thank so much for your work and info! It was my second time i have visited Iceland but after reading your inspiration and want to jump on the plane again.

So... It's been six years since we got back from our big family travels. A lot can happen in six years and the kids are growing at a pace that's completely overwhelming. We have 'settled' back into life in the UK, which for all its problems is an amazing country and we love it here. We've got back on track with our careers and the kids are progressing well with their schooling. As for travel, thankfully we still haven't stopped.
