... I think it says "Dingo", not Bingo... isn't that more Australian? PS... um... I lived across the street from Max Brenner last year... across the street... it was a HUGE problem because I loved it a little too much. And the ironic part is that I haven't been to that location this year but last week, I went to their other location before this show I saw and had Mexican Hot Chocolate. What a dream!!! Of course we're going back!!!

WOW, what a post -- what an adventure! I canNOT imagine first learning scuba in open water (I had three days of pool training before my first dive)! Glad you're getting to experience "real youth travel" (ie youth hostels)! Hey with all the rainforests, were there bugs? SO happy you had a great time with Graceann and Sarah!

I believe the high pitch sound is for blind people to know when to cross the road. Well this is what I was bought up believing! Th button will also vibrate when it is time to cross. Maybe this is for the blind and deaf? Also depends what internet you are using. we do have fast internet you just have to pay for it.. It is the government that wont allow eveyone to have it for cheap, not the fact that we are antiquated!! Having been to America myself there are some great things there too. If only countries could swap the best things and so we can have it all... I know Tim Tams would be a hit... I love them too.

Hey Merri, I love your descriptions of everything - I can really picture the club, the fish, the rain... And I feel the same way you describe about the music. They played it at Squaw outside our room for hours one weekend - I escaped to Starbucks cuz couldn't even read in my room anymore! Keep having fun, Kathryn

Darling Harbour on Google Earth
Wow - I'm looking at Darling Harbour on Google Earth and there must be a hundred bays around there. Everywhere you go you must see water (just like San Francisco)! Looks like a great place. How can you go to school when there's so much ocean all over the place? (I guess because it's winter it's not beach weather, is it?) You guys are all bundled up in your winter down parkas right now. I also went straight west on Google Earth following routes "4" and then "32" and saw satellite photos and also tourist photos of the Blue Mountain area and the three sisters. Almost feel like I'm there with you. Have fun!

Cool roo (Mr. Jones I mean). I thought they roamed all over the place (that's what we're told here in the US). Guess they're only in the outback and the zoo, huh? You are having "way too much fun!" We're not hearing about your university courses. ;-) You'll learn more outside of the uni anyway. Keep having fun.
