Dude, thanks for the update! Good to hear you're doing crazy awesome! Things out here are getting cold (finally). It's been cold for a while now but not like last year. Things are changing, though (I saw my breath in my bedroom for the first time last night). Going home this year. Can't wait! Two years is... stretching things ;D

It makes me tear up remembering how we didn't get our real goodbye in Wakuya...I'm here in Vietnam at the moment and of course think of you pretty often, as we discussed this trip so often! I will always treasure you as a fantastic "town-mate" in good old Wakuya and I will wait with baited breath until we see each other again! Much love, Krysta. XXXOOO

Good thing you took my advice on Otaru wench! The 2nd time I went, the blizzard was so fierce we got trapped at the top of the mountain and had to walk back to the station in heavy snow. Notice I didn't tell you about that before you left?! I'm glad you went and enjoyed the glass blowing hon. Just don't break it when you head back to Cali.

Really entertaining blog on Japanese graduations and bowing principles. The only bow you didn't mention is the K-9 bow - during a bowing session the parties amaze each other - isn't that's called a bow-WOW? Apparently you missed that one. :) Sorry. love, dad

It seems you are having a fantastic time and I wish I could have also gone to some of those places. Keep it coming, it's great to see and read about when I'm in cold and rainy Scotland, studying for exams. I miss you!

Ice festival
Wow! Those ice carving are unbelievable. Luckily, it is cold enough to keep them for awhile. I would loved to have seent hat. I'll pass on the crab - too much work for that little bit of meat. Great stories.
