Hey, Rome was a beautiful trip together with some (ex)colleages of Lux (Nijmegen). Together with Ilona, Sanne and Sam we felt we had been walking in a open air museum for all the days we have spent time in Rome. What a perfect city!! We were so lucky with the beautiful weather. Hi hi, Last update coming in: I'm back in Bangkok at the moment and flying out to London tonight. I've had an amazing time in the Islands of Thailand. From Koh Phi Phi we went back to Koh Phangan and from there we went to Koh Tao - divers paradise. I've had some problems starting writing this blog as I realized that it is probably gonna be my last or second last blog of this trip. Of course I'm looking forward seeing my family and friends again back home but at the same time it feels really strange. Hi people, Time for the last blog from OZ. As Tom & I are both interested in diving, we decided to go up north to Coral Bay to dive the famous Ningaloo reef. Easier said than done for multiple reasons, of which one was the distance to this nice little town. Apparently the nicest reef in Australia is 1200 km up north from Perth and we decided that we could just go for a couple of days. Gday It doesn't get more OZ than this. Spending time with my best mates in WA-Perth. Catching waves when the swell is good at City Beach, shooting emus, birds and cook them up on the barbie at my mate's Farm, after a night of drinking red wines form the Kierath Vineyards, going spearfishing, snorkeling + diving with sharks and of course play (or watch in my case;) ) some outdoor sports!!! Hi people, After the dessert I thought it was time to hit the coast like a proper tourist. The East Coast cleared up a little (weather like) and no more floddings goin on. So what to do in 2 weeks? Just try to do all the highlights between Cairns and Sydney. Well that was a massive challenge in my restricted amount of time... I decided to do the Whitsunday Islands and Fraser Island and after that I visited Tina in Brisbane for St Patricksday after which I flew into Sydney for a couple of days.
