You know your mom has to ask if you ruined your dress jumping in the pool. And I'm with Will, I hope you have pictures! Did you ask the prof from Morocco to help with getting a summer job???? Have fun in Cape Verde! Love you, Mom xoxo

Excellent work on breaking out. I trust you built a tunnel behind your toilet, as guided by your tattoo, conscripted your puerta rican roomate to cover for you and travelled through the walls.... et cetera. ;-)

I have mixed emotions about you missing the sky diving. As for the sickness, it was probably the ballet. Keep up the great blogging. I love reading about your adventures. Bebe and Lupe say Hi !

no to skydiving - From: Cape Town!
Okay, I've been pretty open and tolerant with your world-travel and the risk involved, but you can sky dive in America. Maybe this is the time to just say no. Pleeeeeeaaasssseeee! Love you, Mom xoxo

Boo to seasickness :-( If it gets really bad close your eyes and think in you head 'Left, right, left, right, up, down' as the boat sways. It really works. I hope you gave Madagascar a wave from me ;-) Good luck with all the exams, you'll be brilliant. xx

Hmmm - From: final thoughts on India
Wow, it seems like there were some pretty harrowing experiences had amongst your classmates. Treating the dead in that way seems wrong to us, but does that make it wrong? One thing's for sure, this trip is worth it: just to have seen and been forced to think about those sort of things. I guess Chennai is off the tourist trail, since i know so many people in love with India and it culture. The regional variations must be huge. I'm sorry it wasn't more fun though :-( Don't get cabin fever on the way to SA! xx

India - From: part 2
Wow. It sounds amazing...and frightening. I wanted to vomit when I read about the gun. You should report that to the authorities on the boat, as they should prepare students for that possibility and how to handle it. Love you! mom xoxo

That is me in the picture. Just prior to serving as the Queen of England (my second term, after graduation from the Navy Seal Academy) I was a Thai restaurant / bar owner. Get some more pictures of that motorcycle / side car set-up. I think I'll copy one for the Harley. Have fun! (I like the picture of the sunset and boat. You should enter it in a photo contest). Dad
