I was kind of reluctant to send my son to Casa Guatemala from America, but this blog and another from volunteers who worked there were so well written, I have no doubts about him going there now.

Welcome Home
Every morning, often before dawn, I light my blessed candle and sit down and pray. I ask Our Lady of Fatima to protect my children, mentally, spiritually and physically. Its on mornings like this, that I am very grateful for her constant protection of you Matt. Another morning was when Nuala was driving us over the Castlereagh Hills on our way to Bangor, wedding dress shopping. The lady in the shop made us all tea, such was our apperance. lol. I should have also prayed protection on your cash cards Matt, you can only keep them for a couple of days. lol. Thank You for the wonderful blogs, we all enjoyed so much. The jungle drums beat when there is a new one .........Now PARTY TIME EVERYONE WELCOME May I take this oppertunity to wish Gilly all the best, I often send one up for you too. It was ok
Worries me a little when a bakery / deli doesn't have white bread that is on the menu. The sandwich was not bad. Decent portion but wouldn't go far out of my way tho..... The Staff was very nice tho.
