So I was picked up by my host family last night around 7:30. It was an amazingly comforting release of tension after the stressful/exciting couple days in the hotel. The highlight of that period of time has to have been friday night, when I decided to try a number of new things. Hello ladies and gentlemen. I´m writing from the Hotel Lyon smack dab in the center of Buenos Aires. Despite getting virtually no sleep during the 9 hour ride from Atlanta, I feel pretty awake now. There´s almost too much to talk about, especially since I´m kind of stressed at the moment because I think other people are waiting for the computers. So today I plan to pack, and make whatever other preparations I can think of. I'm kind of freaked out right now about all this. I had a terrific time yesterday with Kristin (not my sister Kristin) and barely thought about going at all. Even when I did I couldn't really believe it was going to happen. Now just thinking about this is significantly increasing my heart rate. The tension is building, precipitously.
