Hello hello hello!!!! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and great holidays!!!! I have had a very long holiday here in Argentina. I have been on holidays for 2 months - it’s crazy!!! Yet so great! I will be returning to face the working world in a week though! I have been here in Santa Rosa, La Pampa for Christmas and New Years which has been great. Everybody here welcomed me with open arms, Kevin’s parents in particular have been fantastic!!! HELLO ALL!!!! Well, It's November now - I have been here in Buenos Aires for 4 months now!!! I really can't believe it's been that long, the time has gone soooooooo fast!!! Well, where to start......After 4 months I finally feel quite settled here, I still have a long long long way to go with my Spanish but I'm happy to report that I can communicate somewhat now which makes life a whole lot easier and ofcourse I expect to be perfect by Christmas (hahaha)!!! Actually I expect to still be learning for the rest of my life but every new word I learn is one step closer!!! Hi everyone!!! I’m coming to the end of my time hear in Costa Rica it’s the end of my fourth week tomorrow is Saturday and I catch the bus to San Jose the capital of Costa Rica. Then on Sunday I fly out for Argentina - Yay - I’m really excited about getting to Argentina and seeing Romina (my Argentinean friend that I meet in NZ)!!! But I am feeling sad to be leaving Costa Rica I feel like there is so much here that I still haven’t seen and then there is also the fact that the weather here is so nice and warm and I know that it is going to be freezing in Argentina - I will definitely return to Costa Rica another day! Hola Everyone!!!! So im 2 weeks into my time here in Costa Rica and things are great! My family is big and live in a little house 7 people plus me in a 3 bedroom house!!! Apparently it is normal here though because it’s expensive to live here so the families all live together. My house is nice though and always perfectly clean and is about a 5min walk to the beach so that is really nice and all of the bars are just as close. I’ve really been enjoying the warm weather and hanging out at he beach. My first couple of days here it was raining a lot which was disappointing but has cleared up now and has been nothing but blue skys, very warm infact - Id hate to be here through summer!!! ... read more
