Wow, do we have stories...Pete's debit card was compromised on April 4. On April 5 mine was compromised. The charges are coming out of texas. After spending a few minutes on Skype, we heard our bank telling us it would take around 10 days for a full refund. Some of the cruisers have been hit with as much as 6K. Fortunately, we heard about it early on and cut off the card before they could wipe us out for this month. Scary!! Pete's card was compromised in Antigua. Mine was compromised in St. Marteen. Yesterday we had the outboard start a clacking noise. We called for help from Non Linear. Jon came over to where we were, getting a wire repair from FKG. He and Pete worked on it for an hour to no avail. So we went shopping. 2 hours later, we had bought an 18 HP Tohatsu, 2 stroke. Works great! We are hoping the dinghy stays together...You got to remember, the dinghy is used as your personal car. Gets a lot of abuse. We probably would have bought the package deal, except they did not have correct size in stock. We are [View Full Entry]

The 747's lands on Sunday and Thursday afternoon. So here we are in beautiful Sunset Beach, watching the planes land and take off. Around 2:30 pm here it comes. Mom is laying down on the sand with Sony ready for a movie. Yes, here it comes, the wheels are about 10 feet over the fence, cars stop before runway cause they don't [View Full Entry]

Love Marigot Bay. The French really know how to make you welcome. $5 Euro to check in...Didn't even look at our passports...Went for lunch at L'Armantine, took Non Linear. This restaurant offers specials for lunch everyday. These particular day they had Carpaccio de Beouf, for those of you that do not know French, it is raw beef, with a caper sauce, topped with Parmesan cheese, for $10 Euros per person, includes fries and a salad. We noticed our lady waitress, had improved her English in a year. Pete made sure to let her know. In order to find this restaurant, if [View Full Entry]

Ile Fourche is part of St. Bart. St. Bart is St. Bartholemy. The moorings at this island are free. There is absolutely nothing here. It is a nature reserve. No fishing. Darn huge Cuda, ugly, fat, scarred up was under our boat for hours. Took us around 12 hours to come from Barbuda. [View Full Entry]
