Written on May 30: Had one of those days yesterday. Was: running late, getting soaked in the rain, oversleeping, needing a jump for my car, not able to find anything, needing to take apart my mothers car to get at her battery, still getting soaked in the rain..... but finally made it Milwaukee okay. Saw Erin, Jenny, and Jake last night for drinks on Water Street (which I almost found all by myself). Had some emotional good byes in Philly. Then drove the 12ft truck off to DeKalb. Must say I'm really impressed I didn't hit anything driving the big yellow monster through the tiny historical streets of Philadelphia. Made it to DeKalb safe and sound. Been relaxing at the farm mostly. Had BBQ with the family for memorial day. When I'm not packing, unpacking, or repacking boxes, I've been trying to bone up on my 'pirates of the carribean' knowledge (the theme of the camp in Italy), with the assistance of the new kittens who like to climb on face unless of course [View Full Entry]

5am (first morning after UArts finals) Get up, eat breakfast, put on HUGE white dress, hair and makeup (including LOTS of glitter), grab phone and wallet, walk to hotel/meeting place. Gig: Performance Promotion for Circus De Sol: KOOZA. Two fourteen hour days of street performing and show promotion. Is this my life? Yesterday I graduated from college! I had lunch with my mother and father and godmother. I had dinner with dad and Jenifer. I had a really nice day. Went back to Doc Watson's which I haven't been inside of since St. Patrick's day of 2005! Lots of changes yesterday. Tomorrow I move out of the apartment building that has been my home for the last three years. I'm leaving most of the best friends I have ever had. I couldn't be more excited and more scared. The day after tomorrow I will officially be a college graduate. I will be a proud owner of a diploma from the University of the Arts BFA Acting program...........so now what?I have been a student for as long as I can remember and more or less my life has been structured around my education.
