Phuket was expensive extremely commercial and filled with old men looking for go go girls. Worth a look around for the experience but i would hardly say it was the highlight of my trip.If you are planning a trip to Patong Beach one thing i would say is book in advance because we spent the best part of 2 hours in the baking heat with our back packs on looking accomadation. As you probably guessed w

Laos What can i say apart from amazing If you visit Asia you have to go here. Great time had by all. After arriving in Vientiane the capital of Laos we made a sharp exit to Vang Vieng. Throughout travelling we had been recommended to go here by the majority of people we met so obviously we would have been stupid not too.The sights were amazing and everything was extremely cheap. Making it a good

Night in Bangkok

We arrived in Bangkok on the 8th January early in the morning tired and slightly annoyed. We had quickly realised that some of our things had gone missing on the coach journey. After this we started to hear story's of people being gassed on buses and having there things stolen from beside them. It all seemed a little far fetched but now i can believe that it would happen. The day consisted of a tri

Thailand Full Moon

We arrived in Koh Phangan on New Years Eve after the overnight coach and boat journey starting from Bangkok. Lacking accommodation we had to settle with a beach side Hut on the North of the Island the furthest point away from the main party. I say we had to settle for it but it is probably one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever been tooTired from travel but determined to have a good night

Short time in Cambodia

On our way to the Full moon party Thailand we had time for a short stop in Phnom Penh Cambodia. The hut we rented by the lake was cheap and pritty basic but set us up perfectly for a night in Cambodia. All the bars where within a stones throw away from our lake side hut in the backpacker region of Phnom Penh. I think the photos tell most of the story of our night out.A trip round the main part

Vietnam

Our first stop in Vietnam was Hanoi where we barely stop to soak up the culture before we were off on a three day boat trip from Halong bay.The first day consisted of chilling out on the top deck of our boat soaking up the sun and taking in some of the amazing views along with going for a swim and getting to know our 'new friends' for the next 3 days. A game of Paper Scissors Stone would decide

Hi again everyoneJust a quick one this time basically an escuse to add more picsAfter our short but fun filled time in Hong Kong we decided on a trip to Macau. Macau is on the coast of southern China and a short boat trip away from Hong Kong also boasting the fact that it overtook Las Vegas in terms of income from casinos so well worth the trip.So while we were there we visited a couple of to

First Stop

Finally arrived in Hong Kong after the 13 hour flight good job we booked a hostel otherwise we would not have had a clue where to start. The hostel is apparently quite good or so were told. The fact that all the beds touch gives you an idea of how small its is and that was the first room The second room we got moved into after we decided to stay a few more nights was even smaller and included
