Hi all, Here's my last post! I only spent 2 days in Los Angeles, but enjoyed my time whilst there. My original play was to buy another small bag whilst there and fill it up with clothes, but I'm going to Cape Cod with my family next week and so can shop then. On my full day in LA I decided to go to Universal Studios, mostly because there was a cheap offer on! Hi again all, I'm currently in Nadi, waiting for my flight tonight. I take off at 22:00 on the 27th and land at 13:15 on the same day! It's going to be a long day.. Anyhow, back to what I've been upto: Whilst on Waya Lai Lai I went on a hand fishing trip with some people I met, I didn't catch anything but most the others did - there were some really good size fish coming out too! Hi all, I'm on a very slow and expensive connection in the Fiji Yasawa islands so this can only be a quick message. Fiji has been great so far - although its been a bit difficult going from doing things constantly for 5 1/2 months to doing very little! The resorts i've been to out here are Korovu and Waya Lai Lai and i'm heading to Bounty island tomorrow (famous for Celebrity love island), before heading down to Pacific harbour on the main island for a shark dive! Hi all, Just a quick note to let you know i'm in Fiji now! In Taupo I couldn't get on the crossing, but did a few good walks to see craters of the moon, the volcanic activity center and climbed a mini mountain (far too fast!). I arrived in Nadi yesterday, to a guy at the airport who's job seemed to be to greet anyone looking like a backpaker, stick a shell necklace around thier neck and point them towards the correct pickup for their hostel! Hi everyone. I'm now in Taupo which is in the middle of the north island of New Zealand, famous for lake Taupo, which is about the same size as Singapore! I've been doing quite a few things on my tour of the north island, starting with sea kayaking in Hahei - this is the place where the 'famous' Cathedral cove is. Cathedral cove is a place seen in the latest Narnia film out. Hi all, just another quick message to keep this up to date. I'm currently in Auckland, and will be starting the main part of my north island tour on Tuesday. Since Christchurch I've not done too much of note, I went fishing in Kaikora after the fly your own planes pilots had a day off! And then traveled up and did the 4 hour ferry crossing to Wellington. Hi again, I just thought I'd write a quick post to let everyone know what I'm upto again. It isn't really hard - I've done very little! I'm back in Christchurch, and did go to see that pathetic excuse for a rugby match which was played the other day. I was very supprised with how little atmosphere there was, especially with the size of the win the All Blacks had. It's easily enough to remind me why I'm a Football fan. Hi everyone, Just another quick entry! I spent my day climbing a glacier in Franz Josef - and it was great! There was even a small hole in the ice which had opened up we could crawl through. It was so small at parts even I had to lay down in the (freezing cold) puddle at the bottmo of it and just pulled myself through using my arms - it was incredible! Hi all, I've not posted in a while, which is because I've been in various remote places of New Zealand with no internet! I've only got a few mins now, but I'll note down what I've been upto so I don't forget. From Christchurch I traveled to Kaikoura, where I went whale watching again. It was sperm whales this time, and a very different experience to Sydney. We also got to see Dolphins and a couple of Penguins briefly on the trip. Hi again all, I've now made it down to New Zealand, I'm on GMT + 12 and it's very cold down here - yesterday it snowed in Christchurch for the first time in 2 years! I didn't do too much more in Melbourne before leaving - I did go back to the game on exhibition and spent another day playing various great games! I also visited a huge casino there - I spent 1 1/2 hours just walking around it before deciding to gamble with some money.
