| 29th June 2006 Ate Nancy | I'm travelling with your parents! - From: Mabuhay! Ah, business class. What a different world! Have yet to experience that. I suppose that's the way to go if you fly to the Philippines, huh? Have fun in the Philippines and Thailand. Looking forward to more pics and blogs! |
| 13th June 2006 MaggyPaggy | - From: Paris September 6-12 Most of those pictures are in and around Montmartre where my hostel was located. A few are from near the Place de la Concorde. There are so many others in my computer, but I didn't want to bombard people with my 200+ photos of Paris! |
| 13th June 2006 anonymous | - From: Paris September 6-12 Where did you get these awesome pictures? |
| 30th March 2006 Tita Melinda | Vienna - From: Wien August 22-25 Hi Chiqui! It's a good idea that you are traveling with your friend and seeing all these cities. Yes, I would like to see Vienna and also Barcelona one of these days (of course soon before my knees give up) Keep on traveling, from Rick Steves! |
| 3rd October 2005 Gembum | Joie de vivre! - From: Paris September 6-12 Hey Chiqui...It's Ate Nancy. It looks like you had a great time. I hope your Trevi fountain coin works and you get to return to Europe soon! It has been such a joy to relive your trip through your photos. We'd love to see more. Please e-mail the Snapfish link to me when you get the chance. |
| 15th September 2005 Gembum | well done! - From: Last Days in Paris Chiqui, it has been a pleasure to read your travel journal throughout. You are a talented writer and a witty observer of human nature, which makes for fun reading. It seems that you learned much about the world, and also about yourself. And, apparently, about Zara. Congrats on your great, well deserved adventure! You'll have many more I'm sure. John Pop |
| 2nd September 2005 mom | - From: Why donīt you speak any English? stay away from those kind of guys. i know mike might have taught you some self defense moves, but still.....be careful, my chiquita.... |
| 2nd September 2005 MaggyPaggy | - From: Ahhh.... Luxury!!! we donīt have a zara store in san francisco, so iīm definitely loving europe right now. iīve already hit the one off la rambla, and intend to go back at least once before i leave barcelona. |
| 2nd September 2005 MaggyPaggy | - From: Why donīt you speak any English? she obviously understood english, since she was answering him back in spanish. thatīs the line i was using with the gross drunk man that tried to hit on me. |
| 2nd September 2005 Gembum | No english... - From: Why donīt you speak any English? I bet she does speak English and just had no interest in speaking to them! What a great way to avoid dealing with scuzzy dudes. Anyway, we're all enjoying your travel blog here in Philo. And cheers to Zara! I love that place. We're going to Philly this weekend and a Zara just opened up there. I'll think of you as I shop! |
| 31st August 2005 Gus_Granada_Spain | Zara information - From: Ahhh.... Luxury!!! Read your blog by chance. If youre looking for Zara shops you came to the right place. Although now international Zara is a spanish clothing company. You will find Zara shops everywhere in Spain. And much cheaper than any other place or so I'm told. Have fun in Bunol mayhem. |
| 29th August 2005 Ate Nancy | Zara! - From: Blazing hot! Someone's got a Zara fetish...but I don't blame you! I first discovered that store when we were in Finland and fell in love. Then I found out one was opening in Philadelphia when we went to visit John's folks. Ah, bliss! Anyway, not that you're just going to shop in Europe, but check out the H&Ms. They are so different than the ones in the States. I think the clothes are a little edgier and possibly cheaper, although I'm not sure with the Euro and all. And on a food note...don't forget to have a pain au chocolat in Paris. Pure heaven. It will be hard to resist them every morning, but who says you have to do that. |
| 28th August 2005 MaggyPaggy | Free! - From: Blazing hot! How amazing that I'm here the last Sunday of the month and admission is FREE!!! I love that word, especially more now that I'm a backpacking traveler! =) I love Rome, met some great people, even though some people have tried to shortchange me already... I'm sad to leave, but I definitely can't wait for Valencia, Barcelona, and most especially, Paris!!! |

| 26th August 2005 Mary Ann | Enjoy Rome! - From: Blazing hot! Hi Chiqui, Sounds like you're having fun! Have a great time in Rome. Brad and I really liked this city: the Coliseum (take the tours from the English speaking Italians that wander outside, they get you in fast and aren't scamming you), the Vatican (get there early, the lines can be long. Our tour group tried to bribe the police (our guide's idea) to let us in the back way, but being Easter week, they all declined.) Don't forget to toss a coin in the Trevi fountain and make a wish. We forgot to do that so toss one in for us, too! Looking forward to seeing pics and hearing more about your ventures. Take care, Mary Ann |

Glad you finally got your fish and chips and didn't have to eat at KFC again. Amazing that you'll find that chain and others over there, isn't it? Hopefully, you won't find a Starbucks in Italy, although I did hear that one was opening up in Austria. ?!? When you do get to Italy, please have a cappucino with your breakfast for me. Looking forward to more updates and wishing you many more days of pretty sunsets and people watching. |
