I've read several of your blogs this evening
Portugal is on our short list and moving up after reading your post. Looks like you enjoyed some good wines.

Well, Well, I am behind the times.
Hey Cory I am sorry to say that this last 18 months I have not followed your blog, and then I find you Married... My that is impressive. Congratulations. After you being our very first wwoofer, we have had more than 120 now and still enjoying them. Fortunately no more major snake incidents, but have had a pythin living in the vestibule for several years, but have had him and his follow up removed as the were getting a little to game. Have caught up with many of our Euro woofers, and one day hope to catch up with you to. Keep travelling, it feeds the soul. Love Denise

I didn't say "pandemonium"
Thank you for your review and enjoying my museum. However, allow me to correct a mistake and a debunking you have posted on this blog. The wave of media attention caused by Ruth Harkness' first giant panda to be brought back to the West created a new word, "pandamania" or "pandia mania" in 1937. "Pandemonium," of course, came into existence in the 1600s, as you correctly note, via Paradise Lost. Best wishes, Loren Coleman

Manjerico
That´s the name of the bush. Actualy, it´s more like an herb. It is a variety of basil (that you most certanly find, and use, in Italian cuisine). Main difference is the size of the leaves; they are quite similar in smell. Have fun. Keep on travelling.

Congrats!
Hey Cory. Congrats to you and Jenn on your engagement! Glad to hear you've found love, and seem to be really enjoying life. My news is that I too am engaged!! Lunch, a walk on the beach, a message in a bottle and a man on bended knee, how could I say no! Very exciting time in our lives. We're busy planning already, getting married in March next year. Keep in touch. xo

UN Convoy
I know these were written a while back, but just discovered your Japanese blogs today, and wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying them. Great writing - "make me hand out my food like I was a UN convoy to Mogadishu" made me laugh out loud! As did the sign suggestions by your commentators. You're making me miss Japan a lot....
