| 7th April 2007 scott | - From: Cyclonic Dreams: A Shark Bay Experience Tis a cool van, but it runs on the urine of Jack Bauer. |
| 5th April 2007 Ken Wilk | The Idiot--April 5 - From: Tussle with Bearded Mussels in the Bay Islands Cory--I agree, The Idiot is up with Crime and Punishment--amazing the ebbs and flows in that book. Enjoy your commentary and cannot wait for the novel! Look us up when you through Palo Alto. |
| 2nd April 2007 Feiko | Oh the laughs - From: Cyclonic Dreams: A Shark Bay Experience I have to agree that is the best van ever... and yes In your travels you do meet crazy people with Duct tape and toilet paper.. I think I would have gotten drunk before I removed the Duct tape though. Just a thought. I hope the sun and sand have you fully recharged my friend. The pics really make me want to go and visit our friends down under! |
| 29th March 2007 Rich and Zoe | Bay Lodge Backpackers - From: Cyclonic Dreams: A Shark Bay Experience So glad you stayed there! We had such a good time when we stayed with them...the best hostel ever! And did they take you to the hot spring bath? One of the best evenings of our whole trip was spent in that hot tub under the stars getting a little tipsy!! Glad your still having fun...we are home now and daydreaming constantly of getting back out there! Keep up the brilliant blogs...they are making my days go that little bit quicker!! |
| 29th March 2007 Pete | Theivery - From: Cyclonic Dreams: A Shark Bay Experience I'm straight up gonna steal that Chuck Norris oicture and put it on my myspace. Whaddya say to that, punk... Anyways... looks like a jolly good time ur having. |
| 28th March 2007 Saskia | Sorry man, have to make correction... - From: Cyclonic Dreams: A Shark Bay Experience I hate to wee on your bonfire, but Blackbeard was a scurvy knave - it was Black Bill, or William Dampier, who was the great adventurer and sweetest-natured gentleman ever to sink a ship or cut a throat... Don't let Leon know about the slip-up, you'll never hear the end of it :) |
| 28th March 2007 The Sushi Cowboy | Chuck Norris - From: Cyclonic Dreams: A Shark Bay Experience Could there be a cooler van? I think not! Sorry to hear about the drunk roomies. The best way to get even is to wait for them to pass out (from excessive boozin' of course) then bust out the teabags and the camera. |
| 15th March 2007 Saskia | Nostalgia - From: Up the West Coast: You Must Be Wwoofin' Ahh, your pics are making me feel all nostalgic for the West Coast (even though I'd melt in those temperatures). Keep enjoying :) |
| 12th March 2007 jaxw17 | love them - From: Up the West Coast: You Must Be Wwoofin' love your blogs been following for a while. I like the way you write and what you write. |
| 12th March 2007 anti-crisps | from wwoofer to wwoofer 8000km away - From: Up the West Coast: You Must Be Wwoofin' Be careful of where you are stepping in budy ; these blody snakes love sweet tender leg of inexperimented wwoofers. Take care |
| 7th March 2007 Feiko | hmmm... women - From: Perth Distilled: Nice-ish. Something about travelling makes it easier to meet people. But Cory would it really hurt you to take a picture of them? Actually... It just occured to me that you probably did and just don't feel like sharing! I can live with that but man.... just think about the rest of us. Some of us are more visual. The writing is very good, as are the pictures, but a connection would be grand. |
| 7th March 2007 anonymous | your love life is like ... - From: Perth Distilled: Nice-ish. If you had been born a couple of hundred years ago the guy passing himself of as William Shakespere would have come to you for inspiration when trying to write about two star-crossed lovers. |
| 7th March 2007 sprucemoose | Little Creatures rocks the house! - From: Perth Distilled: Nice-ish. To start off, well done for even visiting Perth; we're so far from anyone/anything else we tend to be a TAD forgotten! Yea Perth is a bit on the quiet side, but it's a relaxing quiet that is pretty awesome to live in. It's very unique in that it is a kinda big city with its fair share of opportunities but with a chilled, un-hectic small-town lifestyle . Oh yeah, and our beaches are pretty damn good too as Dan The Man said :P |
| 7th March 2007 Hutcho | Little Creatures - From: Perth Distilled: Nice-ish. Hi Cory, nice to read an outsiders view of my home town, I agree with the sleepy aspect but the beach kinda makes up for it in my opinion :) I especially miss it as I am in Quebec at the moment which is almost at the opposite end of the celcius scale! Most importantly I'm glad you found one of my favourite places, Little Creatures, purveyors of the best beer in the city, many an hour has been spent there, beer + sun = happiness :) Dan |
| 7th March 2007 ME | YOU - From: Perth Distilled: Nice-ish. Has it ever occurred to you to, i don't know, get the email of pretty girls you have fantastic dates with? I find email is more reliable that fate or whatever you were rambling about. Just a friendly suggestion from you former student who is over 10 years younger than you and apparently more logical. OH! SICK BURN! Actually not really... have a nice day :-) |
| 1st March 2007 anonymous | Feiko's random thoughts - From: "Moby Dick or Bust": How I Hitched From Picton to Christchurch Way to get beat by the Scot's. | 1st March 2007 Feiko | your long legged scandanavian friend - From: Tussle with Bearded Mussels in the Bay Islands Hey dude, New Zealand looks really really awesome! I have to say that I really like all the Kiwi's I meet in my travels... and yes I too was mocked as the "american" after people saw my Canadian flag. Funny how easy it is to segregate people :-) ah well... at least you're good at making friends. Looking forward to your new adventures! |
| 1st March 2007 The Sushi Cowboy | What's that smell? - From: "Moby Dick or Bust": How I Hitched From Picton to Christchurch You can shower all you want buddy, nothing's gonna kill the stench of your farts. Question: when they opened up the whale and found the sailor, did they also happen to find Pinocchio and Geppetto? That's funny about Pip and the barf, I'll be sure to remind him of that...forever. |

| 25th February 2007 ping pong challenger | What ??? - From: Tussle with Bearded Mussels in the Bay Islands What is that cliche Scots are means ?? Don t forget that among your readers you've got Scotish residents (former french and Estonian). And by the way, who sank the rainbow warrior you wanted to dive in ?? Be careful buddy you're choking lots of your readers... But it s still fine as you admit that english bacon is much more tasty than american one (I'd rather say that BRITISH bacon in general is better than any else) My new scotish patriotism is working. Anyway, it's really nice to hear from you and Sunny country. Here in the Highlands as usual it s raining at the moment and I have to leave you to milk the goats... But still, EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE and tomorow sun could shine If you wanna see some pictures, you can have a look in my web blog (in french) http://estoni1.spaces.live.com/ Good luck Cory, enjoy the nice food, drinks, people, bacon offered by mother nature. |

| 15th February 2007 The Sushi Cowboy | Bungy Jumping - From: Flying to New Zealand on the Wings of the Vegemite War Had I known you were going to leap off a bridge, I'd have offered the following advice: If you're gonna shit your pants, be sure to do it on the way down. If you lose it on the way up, gravity takes over and it comes back to smack you in the face. But...if it does happen, be sure to keep your mouth closed. |
| 15th February 2007 Maestro the Vagabond | Did you even read my blog? - From: Morocco Maloku I loved Morocco... perhaps you should read the blog before you make an ignorant comment. |

| 19th December 2006 tony | - From: Melbourne: Penguins Set the Forests on Fire My lovely wife got to spend several weeks in Melbourne on business some years ago. Plenty of walking despite the reasonable public transit, and many rave reviews of the Greek restaurants. But the cats were very miffed when she got home. Perhaps some day, when we're not already booked for Hawaii (and we have the money, of course), we'll visit. The cats can shut up and deal. |
