getting connected again
The more I see of these volcanic effects and residues the more I am amazed we are still on this earth. Thanks for your photos and I hope you had a very happy birthday. Love, Grandma

Thanks for posting!!
Great photos! Okay, those sculptures were a little over the top - some of them almost Dadaist. Those lava tubes looked fantastic - much larger than the ones in Sicily. And the lava columns on the beaches looked really interesting. Looks like a great place to go back to in the summer.

Christmas in Taiwan
Loved that horse! Wish I was young enough to be travelling with you. My last entry I put in telus.com instead of .net so it probably didn't work. One of the reasons I don't do finances on this thing- my typing is too eratic. Thanks, love, Grandma

Taroko Park
Loved that twisty tunnel you could only walk through. Your mother helped me discover where I got lost last time and I'm making another attempt to visit your blog. Love, Grandma

Just moved here myself, and now I've already found all these great things to do. I know it must be strange having strangers see your adventures, but it's appreciated. Looks like you guys are having a blast.... and great photos!

Love the pictures guys, looks like you had lots of fun! I was very excited to see the picture of the giant fu-dog, i was actually going to ask you to take a picture of one for me if you saw one but forgot. The fu-dog is modeled after the shih-tzu! They statue guards and protects if placed properly on the left. Just a little trivia for ya lol. Anyway, miss you both hope all is well!! xo T

questions
Can you advise me concerning sending money to the US while working in Daejeon? Also, I need to know about clothing and bedding. What items should be brought from the states? Any information you can give would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
