hooray! - From: Mom's Visit!
I'm glad you got some thin mints and had a great time with your mom. I'm also glad you got your package, because I had forgotten to write down your address, so I had to call my sister and she told it to me over the phone. I was expecting to get back home from Florida and see it sitting on my front porch because I spelled something wrong. :)

Envy of constant lack of class. - From: Do They Even Have Turkeys in Finland?
I'm reading again! Speaking of cornbread... I randomly baked some last Thursday. It was delish. Also speaking of Thanksgiving. I don't know if anyone told you, but I was able to enjoy a nice group dinner with your family at Xochimilco. It made me miss you, and I was mistaken for your aunt's son... but I enjoyed it. And! I just recently went to H&M too. But yeah... all sounds good with you, I'm glad you're t-giving went well. It was strange being at home for so long and not seeing you, but I ate my fair share(and yours too) of baked goods to fill the void. Have fun and stay warm(in those gloves I bought you). Love John!!!

Whoa - From: Do They Even Have Turkeys in Finland?
So I had to make notes while I was reading this post so I could remember all that I wanted to comment on. Let's see. I'm glad you found a pair of skinny jeans...I'm still working on that. I always think that they make my butt look funny. :) And..you are reindeer? That sounds so cruel, lol. I hope it was good at least. When I was home for thanksgiving, I looked in the pantry and I saw boxes of cornbread mix..I wanted to make some, but then I realized that we had enough food to feed an army, so that will wait until Christmas break..which is in 3 weeks! whoo! In other thanksgiving news though...we didn't have a turkey :( My mom didn't want to mess with carving it. SO, i'm glad you guys were able to have one! One last question...why does your host mom tell you to eat something salty before bed? Does it soak up all your excess water? lol Stay warm!

Host cat - From: Elvis Lives.....in Finland!
Am I the only one that thinks that Tassu doesn't like you? I believe the cat sleeps in your room because he would like his room back. I don't think I'm alone here...anyone?....anyone? No? Oh well and Jari and Juha...both pics say host dad. I'm pretty sure that your host family consisted of a Husband and wife and a son. Not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure. Anyway, I think you should dress up in the attire that Olivia Newton John wore at the end of Grease and maybe you could get Elvis to strike up some conversation. Just a thought that I'm throwing out there to see if I can get a bite. Looks beautiful out there, take care!

Wow - From: Elvis Lives.....in Finland!
Hi Mackenzie! Your blog is great, I just sat done for the first time and read the whole thing. I am so excited for you and it sounds like you are having a great time. The pictures show how pretty it is there - and incredibly clean too it seems. Kind of like your room that your mom is upset about. You should mess it up and take another pic to make her feel better. :) Take care and keep on blogging!

ELVISSS!!! - From: Elvis Lives.....in Finland!
Dude, you should totally take a picture with this Elvis kid. No joke. :) And my brother and I throw those little firecrackers into water all the time. We have a covert pipe at the bottom of our driveway, and if you throw them in there the sounds amplifies a lot. it's awesome...you should try it!

What up!? - From: Pink Parties, Great Views, and a Whole Lot of Bread
Everyone knows if you just turned right instead of left you would of seen the building. But whatever, it's not like you're a genius. Also, I do not like the pictures you are taking, try again. j/k Hope all is well with you. Whenever I see your mom she says she misses you so I'm purposely dodging the 2nd floor. Finland looks beautiful and try not to get lost out there. Maybe investing in a map or a compass might be a good thing. Make sure to wear high shorts, suspenders, glasses, a pocket protector and a knife (just in case!). Take care!

Hey...sounds like you're having fun!! I'm happy for you. AND, I hope you really enjoy your photography class. If we send you something, can we just put a regular stamp on it and put it in the mail, or do we have to do something special with it?
