Copenhagen Denmark in 2 days

It's funny that to many in Skne Copenhagen is much more of a Capital than Stockholm can be. Copenhagen is about 1hr and 30mins away by train and Stockholm is 45 hours away from Eslv. So off I go to Danish land To get there the train goes on the resundsbron resund bridge and then on a tunnel under the sea. The trip is quite short on this section of the journey and you could come and

Malm

It was a busy day for Mirjam and I We headed to Malm and had quite a list to cover. Our first stop was at the Malm Museum which is located at the Malmhus Castle. It's Sweden's oldest surviving renaissance castle and a monument from Malm's Danish period. Hard to believe but this castle houses 4 museums on the inside Yup you can find the City Museum the Natural History Museum the Aquariu

... so Gabriella said. Strange people these folks who live in Trelleborg. Not to mention the geese crosswalk we saw in Skanr med Falsterbo Go figure PYes Gabriella was really sweet and kind to show us around 'Trelle' 'torawood' 'Borg' 'fortefortress' where we saw the viking fortress it was named after. We were a concerned with our trip there since it was advised on TV and papers

Hej I'm in Sweden

Yaaaay I'm in Eslv Leaving Ireland was really something. Once at the airport I learned my flight reservation was never made so they couldnt find my name or any details about it. So I had to buy another ticket in the last minute and made it on time to Copenhagen Denmark. Mirjam her mom and kids were anxiously waiting for me at the airport That was some warm welcome From there we

So long Ireland

Today is my last day here in Dublin as I head to Sweden tomorrow morning. It leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth knowing I'll miss all the wonderful people I've met here. All I know is that I'm sure I'll be back here soon sometime. This afternoon Eoin drove us to Kiliney Hill and the scenery is 'Grand' Well from the top of it I saw a lot of Dublin city as well as Enya's Castle L

Beautiful are the feet...

Today I had an early start. Sometime around 8 or 9 I was in the station by myself to catch the train going to the city centre. Instead of gettting off at Tara st Station I was at Connolly Station which is a bit of a long walk back... So I got a visitor map at the station and took the next train back to Tara st Station. As soon as I left the station there it was Liffey River. The river basi

A balanced Irish diet is one beer in each hand... or foot

This morning I went for a walk at the Dun Laoghaire Harbour and on the way I strolled by the Dun Laoghaire Park it was a beautiful morning. When I got half way to the lighthouse to the end of the Pier I realized it was the best thing I could be doing this morning. Beautiful and peaceful place for relaxing. Then I headed back to the centre of Dun Laoghaire and shopped for stationery and grocer

"One for the full"

Ok now... This is the line you'd say when you're having your 'saideira'... but it seems the Irish never get to agree on when they're having their last beer of the night. hehehe Not that I am complaining I've had my first pint of Guinness and many others followed... PGoing back a few days since I last posted here... I finally got my new camera which is really nice. So the next day we headed

Well leaving Brazil was really something. After missing my flight on the 25th I managed to arrive about 4hours earlier to my scheduled flight on the 26th so this time I wouldnt miss it Hanging around in the airport for another extra 4hours was a bit stressingful I was walking around in a black dress wearing black snow boots carrying a black winter coat and a black backpack. Temperature out
