We went to the night market last night and what a mini experience from the 'food' to the crazy t-shirts which had us laughing for ages...Also had a raisen waffle- very thai lol! Hello all, Well last night was fun, went to Patong which is the main nightlife area, had a lovely taxi ride there for 350 (the girls here told me would be about 400 baht) and the return taxi was 300baht...good ol' bartering... Went for a meal and a few drinks there and i still have to add just how strong drinks are here.I didn't get hassled much, must have learnt the 'No don't bother' face with also putting my hand up saying No...it worked. Well wow, if anyone ever gets a chance to have a go- you must do it. When we arrived at the dive site someone jumped up with joy as they had seen a whale shark (6m in length), at first i thought oh my lordy but then i was like wow thats cool, lets go! Hello all, Well i would say i feel alot fitter after my trek up to the viewpoint but when i got down i ate a banana and nutella pancake and then some chips. Took a while to find the viewpoint- no signs at all so i just walked down some little alleyways thinking i was no way heading in the right direction to find that actually i was...on my way i asked a guy who was also heading the same way if this was the way to the viewpoint. Hello all...update from this morning (i really shouldn't be given access to laptop so much) Kyla and I went for the 15minute walk...cough cough- more like 30min trek through the jungle with snorkel equipment and water...was a fun adventurous little wonder to long beach but when we got there the current was quite strong and water not so clear so we decided on another day after snorkelling out a bit on a losing battle (also realising that its her bf that scubas, not kyla...who wasn't too confident swimming. we then went for a bit of lunch in a lovely little beach [View Full Entry]

Interesting day yesterday, this part of the island has many cats...and many people (i am told its quiet at the moment), lots of construction work going on- i think its which hotel is the best...one improves and so does the other. The mossys have followed me to here and i am still getting more by the day but luckily i am just ignoring the little buggers.
