Hello all, Well as mum has commented that she has no excitement...thought i would add some giggles (Well more than giggles- imagine 3 girls trying to retell these stories...not very well i will admit when trying to regain composure and not just laugh). So after making the poor boy cry in Phnom Penh, the following day we were just sitting on the side of the river and i turn around and this man in a wheelchair with a kid pushing him points at us and then the guy is literally running full sprint towards us, i say oh my god they [View Full Entry]

Well guys this is going to be a long blog, i had written one yesterday about the easy rider tour but the computer killed it when i pressed publish so you can get the last 6 days in one blog...oh my...how time has flown... The Easy Rider Tour! Similar to the rest of Vietnam, when my driver picked me up from the hostel in Nha Trang...it was raining (absolutely peeing it down)...no worries we got kitted out top to tail in waterproofs and headed first to see a temple where i wandered round with some girls telling me stuff- they said [View Full Entry]

Finally Made it... Asia » Vietnam » South Central Coast » Nha Trang
Well a much quieter bus ride (well in terms of adventure)...the lads sitting behind me were rather chatty for most of the journey...over all it wasnt too bad apart from minor hypothermia with the air con being on full blast but one can not complain- they gave us blankets and water (but not a toilet- well there was one but it was locked lol- all the fun in travelling lol) Nha Trang looks like a typical sea side resort- got the British feel to it with it chucking it down with rain- we did have sun for a few hours this [View Full Entry]

Last day in Hoi An Asia » Vietnam » South Central Coast » Hoi An
Well its my last day here in Hoi An and i think i will be spending it in the hotel chilling, we have to check out by 11 and there is no real place for luggage storage just a dumping pile so i think i will write some post cards, read a book, browse the internet etc etc. Just pop across the road for some vietnamese lunch and to get a baguette for the bus journey. I have confirmed to do an easy rider tour starting the morning of the 29th, hoping to stay at the backpackers in Nha Trang but [View Full Entry]

Well still got tourists here but not so many today, alot quieter. We ended up getting bikes and cycled the 5km to the beach- quite a nice scenic cycle but not a spectacular beach or sea so we just stayed for a bit, they went in the sea but i just watched and enjoyed the view and crashing of waves... We then cycled back and enjoyed lunch at the same place we had dinner last night- i have tried all the local dishes now for Hoi An...we then picked up my bikinis and back to the hotel for a quick freshen [View Full Entry]

Hoi An is quite a lovely town to walk through and explore for a day and the amount of tailors here is quite impressive (i have managed to get myself a bikini made so fingers crossed for later when i go try it on)...the actual town though as pretty as it is...i couldn't imagine staying in for long. It is definately worth a visit and wander around and i am sure there is plenty to do for a few days if it took your fancy (its built for tourists- not literally but i think there must be more tourists than locals) [View Full Entry]

Yesterday myself and the Canadian explored Hanoi and you will all be pleased with my progress abroad...i went to visit a museum. We went to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and grounds. We did have a mini adventure finding it...god knows where we went but it was a scenic detour, we survived to tell the tale and made a wise decision on the way back to get a cycle tuk tuk thingimajig...Hanoi roads are well different...just a crazy number of bikes which all work in some kind of organised chaos- i think that is the only way to describe it. We [View Full Entry]

Welcome to Vietnam... Asia » Vietnam » Red River Delta » Hanoi
Had a hectic few days...fun but busy lol... Had a lovely meal on my last night in Laos on the riverside...now i had a minor forgetful moment that i have been paying for. I forgot to put insect repellent on as i was leaving the guesthouse- i was running late to no surprise so it just slipped my mind...well when i got back i realised i had a silly amount of bites on my leg, i think it was about 37 on one and 25 on the other- lets just say i have been paying for that mistake lol. No worries [View Full Entry]

I survived (with a few bruises) Asia » Laos » West » Vang Vieng
Well arrived in Vang Vieng yesterday and apart from being touristy is quite a nice place as a stop off for a few day. I came here (like most people) for tubing and wowsa! Tubing is just amazing, i have come out with bruises but wonderful memories and a few pictures ( not as many as i would like as i was afraid of getting it wet). Now my sobre-ing up mind tells me i must write this in choronological order...the bus ride from Luang Prabang was a bit of an adventure- lets just say the roads are mainly mountain roads [View Full Entry]
