good to hear from you Hi Luke and Horst, it is really nice to hear that you are enjoying your trip with all the ups and downs. Thats makes us galous but not about to sit in a plane for such a long time to get there finally. I really liked Koblenz when I was the last time there. Its a nice wee town with old buildings. During the last school holidays we went to Ashburton for the soccer tournament and it was sad not to see you there Luke. Your team came 5th of 12 teams. Ok have a great time and hope to see you back soon. Love from Olaf, Ramon, Rea and Bianca

Shivers Hello
MAn I cant believe you worked at HArods and sold Jellybeans I think that is really cool and we did get there. MY german is slowly coming along and people are urging me to speek German but if I dont understand then they just go to English.
Awesome Job! Hey Luke, I played tennis with your mum today and she said she was really proud of how well you were doing with the travel blog and how many people were pleased that you were writing! It sounds like an awesome trip!!! You must post some photos when you get a chance!
I used to live in London. I sold Jelly Belly Jelly Beans at Harrods. Did you get to Harrods?
How is your German coming along? Are most people letting you speak English or forcing you to try German?
Sydney read your whole blog and said how impressed she was as well. Avery and Graham heard bits and pieces that we read to them.
Have a wonderful time and we will check in again!

So interesting! Hi Luke ... your travel blogs are so interesting!! Well done with your fantastic descriptions and fascinating impressions. You're sounding brave and adventurous and I feel very proud of you. It's Sunday night here ... the last day of the school holidays and both Molly and Rosie have mixed feelings about going back to school. Molly is in for a big term with her dancing and singing in High School Musical 2 on in three weeks time, beginning rehearsals for her school production and trying out this weekend for another shot at the Kids Crew for Christmas in the Park. Thankfully she has agreed to cut down on a few other activities and extra lessons to ease the load ... because as you know the old school work piles up too doesn't it! The problem with Molly is she always wants to do everything and never seems to get tired. Paddy has been having a great dose of the South Island! The lucky boy went ski-ing in Queenstown for a couple of days, then zipped over to stay with Niko at Knox before busing up to Geraldine for a quick lunch with Nan and Grandi and then back on the bus to Christchurch. He was singing and dancing on 'What Now' this morning and staying on to do more HS Musical/Troy (!) suff on another TV show tomorrow. He is with 5 other singers and dancers and he told me they all had a great time having wonderful Horst Elsen Black Forest Waffles at the Arts Centre this morning! I think he got special treatment when he told the women he was Horst's nephew! Continuing on with his family catch up ... Paddy then had a lovely lunch with the Raymonds and played soccer and mini golf with Tom and Jono.
I had a nice time in Timaru and Geraldine too over the holidays ... Rose and I even got to sleep two nights snuggled up in your lovely cosy bed ... hope you don't mind! After adjusting to the wild life peering down at us off the walls (!!) we soon made ourselves very comfortable thank you very much! Takes a while to read what seems like the millions of awards and certificates you've won over the years ... well done you clever man! I felt very close to you sweetheart and kept thinking the whole time about how wonderful it is that you're having this extraordinary trip of a life time with you great Dad!
The bike trips and goregous German cities and villages sounded amazing too ... so beautiful I bet! I can't wait to read your next blog.
Please send my warnest love to your beloved grandmother Mutti and a specail hug and a hi Gerd and his family. I have such happy memories of them here in New Zealand. Lots of love to you Lucky Luke ... boy.. isn't that old family nick name true these days! Molly, Mark, Rosie and Paddy send their love.
We love you! ... from xxx your Aunty Jo xxx
London Hi Luke. I've loved reading about your impressions of 'my' capital city and am really thrilled that you love it! Of course you are probably only seeing the beautiful and impressive parts, which is as it should be! No need to see the rows of dingy terraces and tenement blocks! I could FEEL the Saint Paul's organ vibrate inside me when you described it and felt quite envious. Those are the sorts of things I miss! I don't suppose you'll be missing the hard, crisp, white frosts, glistening mountains and brisk sunny days - but I expect you would if you couldn't see them for a long time!
Keep having a fabulous time on your trip and please give my love to your Dad! Love, Charlotte

wonderful london writing darling Luke, great to hear all about London in such great depth. it must have taken you ages to do all that writing but I know how interested people will be and I think that it will be a great record of your journey, if you can possibley keep it up it would be wonderful.
sebi here, sounds like you had a great time at chlesea, nice to hear you bought some merchandice haha! I also like the story of jack the ripper. there is a good conspiracy theory on him! I cant wait to hear your next blog about PARIS, the city of love... where you will tell romatic tale of how you serenaded beautiful french women! we liked hearing about your conversation with the vicar at st pauls, maybe your special technique of smiling at the vicar might just work on the french ladies! maybe?!!
