Every bus trip you take here is not only the most interesting experience of your life but death defying at the same time. I would like for all you who read my blog to please check out Katrina's blog about our bus riding experiences in Vietnam because I don't think I could have summed it up any better haha. Just check it out you will g http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Vietnam/Central-Highlands/Da-Lat/blog-354371.html Hey Mom I think Ping the duck lives here... We started our Vietnam travels in the South and are now on our quest to make it to the North by Christmas time which is why we are now in Mui Ne. Mui Ne is a small beach town on the southeastern coast of Vietnam. Though the water isn't all that clear and gorgeous it is still warm enough to swim in which is all I could really ask for.Because prices here are a bit more than what we were hoping t http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Vietnam/Southeast/Mui-Ne/blog-352980.html A week with the Sweeds About 2 weeks ago Katrina and I parted ways. I decided to head down to Sihanoukville while Katrina went with Morgan Banks to Kep and Kampot. You may be asking yourself what's in Sihanoukville that would make her split from Katy...well the answer would be the Sweeds. You might remember them from one of my entries in Bali. When we were all in Bali we had mentioned to them that we were going to be in http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Cambodia/South/Sihanoukville/blog-350512.html LoudNoisyColorful Saigon Vietnam Where do I even beginI arrived in Ho Chi Minh City aka Saigon last Sunday night and my immediate first impression was Oh my god this place is awesome. It's all lit up like a small New York. Well that it was but after my first full day there I wasn't too impressed. Katy loved Saigon whereas for me it was alright. Actually it was too noisy for me. People are honking their horns every 10 seconds http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Vietnam/Southeast/Ho-Chi-Minh-City/blog-352979.html Now I know why Angelina Jolie adopted from Cambodia A couple of days ago Katy and I met up with these three guys one Australian and the other two were from London and went to visit an orphanage. We took a tuk tuk to the ACODO Assisting Cambodian Orphans and the Disabled Organization Orphanage and spent a couple of hours playing with the kids. Let me just say that now I know why Angelina Jolie adopted from Cambodia. These were some of the cutest http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Cambodia/North/Siem-Reap/blog-347424.html Ladies and Gentlemen...we have finally made it to Cambodia and it is beautiful First and foremost let me try and explain to you how excited I am to finally be in Cambodia. Before Katy and I left for this trip we would go down to Borders Books and sit for hours looking through the different travel books and everytime I went there I always took out the book on Cambodia first. Every single time I don't really know why I had a crush on Cambodia but I just did. I was interested http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Cambodia/North/Siem-Reap/blog-346188.html Full Moon Party Definitley an experience to remember What can I tell you about the Full Moon Party Well for starters it is absolutley ridiculous when it comes to the amount of people...we are talking thousands. Like probably close to 10000 really drunk and really drugged people. Needless to say it was amazing for people watching however I decided to leave my camera back at our room when we went back for a 20 minute break so I don't have any goo http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/South-West-Thailand/Ko-Pha-Ngan/blog-346166.html Taking Bangkok by Storm I know you will all be surprised by what I'm about to tell you...Katy and I have done more cultural things today Aren't you all impressed I think it has a lot to do with the fact that our hotel does not have a pool which makes the whole swimming and tanning thing less of an interest to us or atleast to me.Two nights ago we decided to check out Bangkok's China Town. Our travel book said that http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-342860.html The first 2 days in Bangkok We arrived in Thailand on the night of November 4th for all of you that would be November 3rd. The Bangkok airport is a little on the difficult side to navigate around seeing as how there are no signs anywhere and the ones that are around are most likely not in English. Needless to say because Katy and I are awesome travelers haha we managed to find our way outside and to a taxi.We got a hotel r http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-342204.html Never tease a monkey I know that most of you have the notion that all Katrina and I do is lay by the pool and get tan which ladies and gentleman is officially incorrect. The other day we decided that we should branch outside of the pool so we decided to take a shuttle bus to Ubud the Arts and Cultural part of Bali for the night and see what else there is to do in Bali. Now other than the abundant amount of mosquito http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Bali/Ubud/blog-339570.html A day at the pool So this is going to be a short email but I just wanted you all to know some of the people that we have met and have been hanging out with. One of the first days back to Kuta I got a knock on our hotel door and to my surprise it was a Swedish guy no idea who he was. He apologized saying he was looking for his room...they apparently got in late the night before and partied till like 5 so he was a http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Bali/Kuta/blog-339567.html My fishing and snorkling expedition After reading my title to this blog your probably asking yourself Stephanie went fishing and yes folks I did indeed Katy and I met these three guys from England and asked us if we wanted to go fishing with them and some guides the following day we said sure why not...our parents will not believe this for a second haha. I also thought that my dad would be really proud of me So we got up t http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Lombok/Gilli-Trawangan/blog-336466.html Oh Wendy Bear how I love thee let me count the ways... Where in the world do I even begin...I'm going to go back in time for a little bit back to our last days in Australia because I forgot to tell you all about my new favorite animals. They are called Quokkas and they are beyond fantastic. They inhabit an Island call Rottnest terrible name huh. Apparently they are nocturnal but you would never know since they are out and about during the day eatin http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Lombok/Gilli-Trawangan/blog-334177.html The Hot The Humid The Perfect Let me just say that Bali is amazing It's the perfect temperature and the right amount of humidity if that's even possible. I'm sure you are all amazed that I'm saying that since I know I complain about the temperature at home which is nothing like this. I think I'm loving it a little bit more than I would have thought cause it's so much different than Australia and especially Perth. We got in t http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Bali/Kuta/blog-332542.html The Train Ride to Perth and the city So here are some more recent pics...there are some of the Nullabor we went through it on our train ride from Adelaide to Perth and some of the actually city of Perth. Hope you enjoy http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/Perth/blog-330990.html Please tell me...when did the mullets and rat tails come back into style That's right ladies and gentlemen boys and girls apparently Mullets and Rat Tails are the in thing when it comes to guys hairstyles Can you believe it It's probably one of the most disgusting yet entertaining things I have seen in a long while. We've even taken some pictures of ones...sickThe other day though we saw one of the most beautiful mullets that anyone has ever laid eyes on It wa http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/Perth/blog-330019.html A frog prince a Penguin and Elvis walk in to a bar... I'm sure that Cassie can attest to these funny observations about Perth that Katy and I have made she has some posted on her blog as well... I hope you enjoy1. There are clearly no more Irish living in Ireland...about 90 of the people that we have met here in Perth have been from Ireland.2. The Irish are really sloppy Drunks3. The Australians are really sloppy Drunks4. The English rank pretty http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/Perth/blog-328082.html We finally made it to Perth...Strep Throat and All Hello HelloSo Katrina and I finally made it to Perth. We took the Indian Pacific Train from Adelaide Sunday night to Perth arriving Tuesday morning. For me it was miserable because I managed to get Strep throat and I felt like I was going to die.
