Last Days in Accra My last day of work was on the friday and I was determined to make it the best i could possibly make it. It turned out the matron who i was shown to on the first day and who i regularly talked with was not in, but i wasnt going to leave without achieving what i wanted most- to go into surgery. Still going strong So it's been roughly over a week since i last wrote but the last attempt was a bit sarce so i thought id dedicate some time to it. Monday - Friday Well monday was the first working day here. As everyone else went to there school i was taken to Alpha Medical Centre. I met with Matron Rose, i couldn't work out whether she was pleased to see me or not?! I felt quite bad saying that i wasn't trained in anything and that i didnt know how to take someone's bp without an electric machine lol. Gap Year 2009- Ghana Hi, this is the beginning then of this mad adventure. We flew 6 hours with personal entertainment which was a surprise. Flying into Accra there was a storm which was unusal as it's their dry season and they hadnt had rain in 2 months.
