24-08-08 Valley of the Beatiful Women and terential rain We spent another day in Zakopane doing very little, just enjoying a bit of a holiday, and left for Hungary early Saturday morning. We decided to drive through Slovakia and continue on to Hungary. The trip through Slovakia was some of the best scenery on the trip, mountainous, and river valleys, and huge forests. I’ve come to the conclusion that the Slovakians are some of the worst drivers in Europe, this however has a lot to do with their road laws. The urban speed limit is 60 kph, and they allow overtaking in urban areas, what usually happens is people overtake you at 90kph in the towns with pedestrian, cyclists, horses sharing the road and then only sit on 100kph when they are on the open road,
