Hello! It's hard to believe that since I last wrote on this blog, I have cycled through the whole of Oregon from top to bottom and am now in Fort Bragg, California. We are just over halfway through the trip and I have over 1000 miles on my mileometer. Hoorah! Things are going swimmingly - my bicycle is doing an excellent job of hauling me and my belongings up and down endless numbers of hills (only one puncture so far), and my body is still in one piece too. Hello! I have grabbed a few minutes on a computer so am taking the chance to write a quick entry. Everything is going great guns here in Washington State! Tonight I am camping in Cathalmet, a small town in southern Washington (we are drawing very near to the Oregon border now) and we are camping right on the banks of the Columbia River.
