Can you please give me the contact info to this Sanuki Udon Class?
Greetings! I am on a mission to learn how to make sanuki udon noodles someday as good as masters in Kagawa prefecture. Im currently planning a trip to Japan, specifically to Takamatsu or anywhere else in Kagawa. I'm willing to stay as long as it takes to really prefect my skill at udon making (which is all but existent). I've been scouring the net for courses only in Udon and have found a couple of schools, but I'd prefer to learn from a supreme master! If you can help me in anyway to point me to the right direction, I'd very much appreciate your help! Thank you so much. Sincerely, Jack

Hi Anthony!
Japan is a beautiful place to live and very pleasant(mainly because the Japanese are such friendly people.). I'm not sure about Psychitric nursing in Japan, but I'm sure there might be info somewhere on the net. Probably you'll need to speak Japanese though.

Dear Alain
The helicopter tour of Mt. Aso can't be booked in advance as far as I know. When you take the bus to the ropeway you'll see a helicopter on the left side of the road a short distance before the the ropeway station. So if you want a ride just walk back down the road after you visit the volcano and you should be able to just pay on the spot and get a ride.

One trip not to miss!
This was the one trip I wanted to make sure I did while I was in Japan this time, so I went the first year (2 years ago)! The snowboarding is great too, and I highly recommend the Hokkaido Historical Village if you get a chance to go back - better with the snow :-)

Wonderful
You look beautiful and so happy! Hope you are having a great time. Saw on the way to bed that you had called. Harris turns the sound off on the computer when he uses it and we didn't hear it go off. So sorry. Can't wait to talk to you. Miss you so much. Lots of Love!!!

Dancing Fools
This was one festival I was going to try and see but didn't, won't make it now. Doesn't sound as though it would beat taiko :-) Have you been to the yosakoi festival in Sapporo?

I do enjoy the black castle
I think it looks very distinguished and royal. They definitely have a different appearance from the rustic western castles and the very gaudy newer western castles. Beautissimo!!!

Takamatsu memories
Yep, have to agree with you - Ritsurin Koen is one of the nicest places in Kagawa. I lived in Kagawa about 10 years ago (for a year). Takamatsu memories....... :-)

McDonald's?
Um, I think that is a Burger King sign. You need to come back, you can't even remember which chain grease bucket is which anymore. HAHAHA. I am so jealous of the incredible experiences you are having while I meekly just move a few states over. Miss You!!!

Another great entry. Genbaku Dome looks eerie. Were you able to walk any closer to it? Love the wide sidewalks.

i like your fish
I miss you bunches. Wish i could be there instead of holed up on boring America. Totally digging on your fish. So you have to catch fish with rice paper? I'm a little confused. Are they just throwing live fish without water in the air and someone has to catch them? Seems a little inhumane. I'm hoping I'm just really confused. Let's "catch" fish!

I just watched an episode of Anthony Bourdains No reservations last night where he went to Osaka and some other town out there. He tried the octopus things (I cant think of the name at the moment) that you ate too. How funny is that! Im saving my pennies to go visit you while you are there. Hopefully soon!!!
