Khmer Food!
Hi Linda - Welcome to Cambodia and it's good to hear you have a great time! I came to the US in early 1981 after the genocide and I am planning to return to live in Cambodia next year. I had to hide in the ship from Sihanoukville Port and end up in Phillipines. Most of my family members were lost during the darkest year between 1979 - 1979. My home is in the US but my heart is still in Cambodia - Come and visit Cambodia again! Theary Minnesota, USA

Raining in Shanghai
The umbrella sellers have a job year round in Shanghai as it rains there quite often. Once summer rolls around the umbrella turns into a sunbrella, meaning Asian woman use them to the the sun off of their skin in order to stay "white" as possible.

Hangzhou
I came across your blog as I live in Hangzhou and blog on Travelblog also. We have been back in Hangzhou for 2 weeks now and it seems like weather.com has disappointed us also. But the sun has finally arrived for a few days and then back to rain next week supposedly. YUCK!
20th February 2012

Lucky - some of my friends headed out to Hangzhou this weekend and said it was great. I'm counting the days until spring (or heading down south, whichever comes first!)
