Happy New Year It does sound like you are "gathering experiences".... good for you. I've never been to that part of the world, but I know people say it is lovely. (I had a rotten holiday season..... food poisoning, hospital with IV's, came home to find house flooded from broken pipe, after 3 weeks, still waiting to get new floors. Chaos!) The weather here is mild and wet and people are worried about snow for the Olympics. Also, earthquake in Haiti, which you probably know about. Anyway, keep on truckin'... Love, Audrey.
Your great adventure So glad you are seeing life, Kelsey. It is so easy to sit here in safe, tidy Sechelt and think that is the "world".... you will never look at things from quite the same viewpoint, once you have been "out there". I really enjoy reading your experiences, as I have never been to that part of the world.....I was in China in l972, and expect that I wouldn't recognize it now! Keep the info coming..... here in the cold and dark, it cheers me up! Merry Xmas ands good luck.... Audrey.
YUP, I'm Jealous thanks for writing explicit details Kelsey. Wow,looked at pictures of Shinjuku. It is bright
the bright light city. Reading your blog makes me feel like I'm right there!!
I've been to Japan too I've been to Japan too but I've never been to Tokyo. I stayed in Shingu in Osaka and I was mesmerized instantly. The place is so clean and organized. After that trip, I went straight to Italy to meet my cousin. She brought me to Sardinia and I was literally shocked. That was the two greatest trip I ever experience. Believe me, you can check out Sardinia in sardinia.com
"Life is what you make of it." That quote pretty much sums up all that is Kelsey:) "You are so lucky!" I hear all the time, but it is not luck that pushes me on my journeys it is my raw ambition for life a little less ordinary. This is just a blog to make all my friends and family extreamly jealous!!... full info
