Nice
Arrived in Nice late in the evening.... whisked away by Jooooo, wonderful amazing Jo, within moments, literally, I had dropped my bag off at his house, quickly grabbed a scarf and helmet and was off zooming around the streets of Nice on the back of a moped trying to catch a train to Antibes for the start of a festival... alas we never made it on the train and instead found ourselves sitting on the beach at midnight, eating Kabobs with four new friends, swimming in the ocean, doing headstands and discussing art and life. That was my first 3 hours in Nice and the rest of my stay can be described in quite the same fashion. One morning while wandering around Nice.. I found a friend from a few days before.. She was headed to someplace in the mountains.. I hopped on the bus with her and snapped these photo´s of a true medival castle... I fell in love with the cemetery there.. A few hours later the sky tore open and I found myself with a flood of other people desperately searching for cover... Absolutely amazing day.. ... read more

A day of Festival in Antibes... danced in a samba line, drank French tequila beer, sang raggae, met wonderful people.... an amazing day...... read more
Travel
Milan... oh Milano... My stay here was short as I missed my flight from LA to Philadelphia, thus missing my flight to Milan, so all was pushed back a day and Milano was the one to suffer. My host Andrea and I missed eachother in the morning so I found Hostel Eva and got a room there. Patrick the owner became my friend over a cafe one early morning. A missed flight found me in Philadelphia for a night! Eric came to my rescue and we spent a wonderful night together telling travel stories and hanging out with his puppy! Eric promised me by the end of my trip I wouldn´t even remember meeting him.... two weeks in that day has yet to come :) ... read more
