Alexis, thanks for keeping the blog for all of us. We worried sometimes when we didn't find any new journals for a while, but you always came through with some good laughs that made it worth the wait. Can't wait to see you. It won't be the same without your blog as my homepage.

RETREAT!
hey! i am so gonna go on my spring break on a 10 day buddhist retreat i hope isnt that much crazy over here! but anyway! hahah i guess i let you know.. but thank to scare me a bit! but there is an awesome island. .that is KHO Tao!! it is just great over there seriously.. great time.. just enjoying the beach and good food... i can try to find out where we stayed at... it was on the other side of the island.... loved it so much!!

hey! if your still up in chai mai, you need to do the elephant,hike and waterfall think, and Bamboo rafting! this is jus so cool! you think it just to expensive (well look around a guest hours or too... i think that we may have paid like 700-800 bath for the day... but it is just great ! the bambo rafting just kick as!! we did a 1 day tours.. and there is 3 day tours.. but whatever there is also cooking class that were kinda fun... but i guess i would have enjoyed way more, if i wasnt busy trowing up and been even more sick for half of the day over there!! hoo and last thing, i dont know where you are in the town.. but you need to go the market! thing thing are actually cheaper ( have you been to the week end market yet in bangkok!? YOU HAVE TO GO AND SHOP OVER THERE before you re on way home... really cheap... hoo one last thing....like dont even think about taking one day trip to the golden triangle... it is just so shitty! like 10 hours of mini van, 2-3 stop and a visist of a little island in laos where a monkey try to attack my friend! but yah i guess i need to share my stuff with you! have a good time on the buddist retreat..... i am gonna go to an intense 10 day one in montreal someday.. since i havent had the time to in thailand!! :( bye have a good day!

hey lovah, I have very little to say because well my life is boring. I just got home from a weekend at marina's cabin on galiano which was super enjoyable. reading break right now, I'm in my fleece bathrobe with no bra, loving life obviously. should probably try and do work today but....blah! can't wait till you get home!!!!

no brain drivers
The drivers have no brains there 'cause they used to ride bikes and then got hit while not wearing a helmet while cycling. They took the insurance money and bought a car 'cause that is way safer to be hitter, not the hittee. So I guess they aren't that stupid after all, 'cause they figured that out even after their accident.

Hey, I'm sorry that you're having a poo day/time. Doesn't sound fun at all. Chocolate icecream/cake/just chocolate in general does make everything feel better (unless you're like me and have too much and thenyou feel sick!) :) I'm not on gchat this week as I'm out at a job so I can't send you an instant hug! I'm so jealous
Enjoying reading about your adventures in the land of my peoples. Right now I'm sitting in a cafe on Commercial Dr and happy to be here but still a the green-eyed monster is slowly rearing her small head. Brings back memories of mine own adventures. So glad you did the Easy Rider thing but you should have contacted Eddie Murphy - he was so halarious. That's super fantastic that you met a guy that shagged our beloved dodgy Uncky Steve. Adeline

It's a small world after all. Someone from A-Channel was filming at UVic a couple of months ago at the bus loop, and I accidently got in front of the woman's shot; she said something super pissy to me, and I'll never forgive the station for it.

Safe travels home. I will miss your blog. Could you not just make up foreign countries and blog about your adventures to those places? Make them be full of cliches and annoyances balanced off by the kind-heartedness of strangers. WAIT - do that and then turn the imaginary blogs into a book, sell the book and make enough to travel again for real.
