Solo ramble through Europe

I'm traveling alone for the first time, and really kind of excited about this challenge. My trip will start with 3 days in Paris, seeing all of the typical tourist sites. Then I'll travel by train to the Mosel and Rhine River area of Germany for 3 nights of tasting some local Riesling. Next, I'll spend a night in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, then going on to Munich as my home base for 3 nights. During that time, I'm going to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle and Salzburg, Austria. The last part of the trip will include taking the Bernina Express through Switzerland and into Italy. Then I'll return to Switzerland for a day in Appenzell before flying out of Zurich.
