MERRY CHRISTMAS! |

| 1st October 2007 Amber | - From: Amsterdam- playground of the Stars What fun! It is good to see you and Jay had such a fantastic visit in Amsterdam. Both Mark and I really enjoyed Amsterdam. It was one the only places we visited that he said he could imagine living for a few years. I feel certain all the water and boats had something to do with his reaction. What struck me most was the happiness in everyone's face, from the very young to the very mature. Now, tell more, possibly there were a few off-line visits, like the red-light district and the coffee shops. I hear they have really good coffee. |
| 28th September 2007 Sharyn BC | Brings Back Great Memories - From: Amsterdam- playground of the Stars Leisa, While all your blogs have been great, this is my favorite. My problem is I am sad that I will never most of these beautiful things. If you hadn't lived in Berlin, I would not have seen that either. So thank you for being my tour guide then and now. Love, Mom |
| 26th September 2007 Carl E Gross | Great Depictions! - From: Amsterdam- playground of the Stars Dear Leisa, Your description of the Jewish Bride and Ben Kingsley's persona are, as the Germans say, famos! Keep it up, all the best to you and Jay and your travels + Kindest, Carl |
| 26th September 2007 Deb B | - From: Amsterdam- playground of the Stars Once again, you made my day. My brother spent some time in Holland on business...he is a sign maker who is frequently commissioned to do the signage for some of the big cruise lines; sometimes there are perks like having to spend time in Holland ;-) He made his living as a musician for many years and still plays his guitar regularly. He has written some very moving and beautiful songs. He wrote one about the streets of Holland. I wish he had a recording of it, I would send it to you. Okay...back to work. Hugs!!!! Deb |
| 19th September 2007 Shannon Schultz | Texas - From: And Now for Something Completely Different -Texas! I too was amazed at the sunsets and the sky going on forever. I sure don't miss the snow of Missouri, but there are other things I do miss. Texas is okay except for their politics. Love, Mom |

I have tried many times to capture the beauty of nature in the sky. I would wait with great anticipation for the pictures to return, only to feel the disappointment of 'no, that's not what I saw.'... Great Job Leisa.. That is part of what I remembered about living the great state of Texas. Love ya. |

| 10th September 2007 Shannon | General - From: Tally Ho! at the Romsey Show I hesitate to add many comments, since they might be considered bias, as your mother. Your narratives are simply wonderful. You paint word pictures as well as the ones on canvas. I bask in the light you shine. Love, Mom |

| 4th September 2007 Tracey | Very interesting - From: Basingstoke is not "Boringstoke" Maybe this is where the word 'eclectic' was derived. One thing for sure is you don't have to go far to see a different style. And, I loved the quote from Shakespeare. Absolutely correct.. |
| 4th September 2007 Rob Roden | UK Graffiti - From: Eurydice in Basingstoke I've long followed the UK graffiti scene. Have you come across any works by Banksy? | 28th August 2007 Deb B | This was my favorite yet! - From: Castles in Wales How incredible to walk where you can imagine the lives these people led. I think it would be almost overwhelming to take everything in. The castles were phenomenal. I am glad you wanted to see these kinds of castles and not just the castles of the rich. Those would be fascinating too but the emotions their history conjures up seems almost sanitary compared to Caerphilly and Caldicot castles...I can imagine them appealing to my more basic, raw senses and really getting my imagination going. Wow! Thanks again. |
| 28th August 2007 Tracey | National Portrait Gallery - From: National Portrait Gallery, London Wow, I loved the man in the blue hat portrait.... i just had to keep staring at it. I had the feeling of wanting to reach out and touch him. |
| 28th August 2007 Tracey | Castles - From: Castles in Wales Ahhhhhhhhh what a way to start my work day! And I now also have great photos downloaded that I can use as backgrounds. I tend to take several mini-mind vacations when I have a beautiful picture to look at. It's a great way to reduce stress. The map attached is awsome! I loved seeing the route taken in ralation to the area. And it's always nice to have a geography refresher. Luv ya :) |
| 24th August 2007 Shannon | Castles - From: Hampton Court I wish I was strolling through those halls with you. I'v read so much about it, I can just picture everything. I really wish I was going to see it. Your descriptions are so vivid, your wonderful. The flowers are glorious. Love, Mom |
